Cast Adrift is broke.

I can't find any bug report forum section here so I'll post here.

Cast Adrift is broke for most of us, I find Torchbug Treacle and give to to Nistel who takes it but doesn't complete the objective. I find it rather annoying that there are already bugs beginning of the game.

I've tried realoadui, logged in and out and everything else, I used /bug and reported it but just to clarify more so I thought I'd post here.

I did that quest earlier and I think I fully completed it. What exactly was the issue you are having?

Could you two please report this in-game via /help? If the quest is bugged, this will quickly alert our in-game support team of the issue.

I have had this issue and reported it (with no resolution yet, although I logged out a few minutes ago).

It seems that maybe if you talk to Nistel without the Treacle, then say you'll go get it, it will bug out. Maybe some already had the Treacle or chose not to heal them, therefore not all are bugged.

I've stopped playing that character until it is fixed.

I've reported it in-game as well. You get the treacle, give it to Nistel, say you'll find the others (though I have already saved them) and then it resets back to the beginning. Already went through that cycle 4 times.

This may be the case. I thought I had picked up the tentacle, but didn't have it the first time that I talked to her, so I told her I would be back when I found some. I found some took it to her and then went on to the next marine. After giving him the juice, the quest sends me back to Nistel. i have given her glow juice many times. It flashes a quest update on the screen, but the quest itself does not update.

Have reported it in-game.

**UPDATE: I dropped the quest and went back to the Sergeant and picked it back. I then ran through the quest again and made sure that I had the glow juice before talking to her. The quest updated normally after that.

Thanks for posting the workaround here. Talking to the marine first, then getting the treacle works for each of them except Nistel. I'm stuck in the same place as everyone else. Reported the bug in game but haven't heard anything back. I'll try dropping the quest and redoing it. Thanks again!

I had this bug in beta and reported it then. I have it again now, and have reported it again. I hope this will finally get some attention now......it is a very annoying bug.

Six weeks later. Still bugged, at least in the Pact-veteran version.

I had it break on me, too. Completed it without complication with earlier characters.
This time, however, I can't complete my dialog with the captain. I can find and help the three crew members, find the body in the cave, but when I come out and try talking to the captain, the conversation stalls when I tell her I'll help. At that point, it tells me my inventory is full (it's not) and I can't select the next dialog line to move on. My only choice is to "Good bye" and I can't progress.
Tried: reloadui, totally logoff/on, drop quest and start over.
I've put in a bug report.

Make sure you have at least 3 inventory slots, she gives you three items. If it still doesnt work with 3 free inventory slots, try abandoning the quest and starting again, but make sure you have 3 free inventory slots the first time you talk to her. Thats what I did and it worked for me, I had the same issue
