Behold the new age of PvP nerf threads.
The deck serves its purpose, it makes for a fast game with a little bit of a chance to beat the flip of a coin.
I lost 2 out of 3 in a row last night but those 3 games didn't take me an hour to play.
If I changed anything it would be that if you hold favor it either gave you the free card or decreased the number of cards to create a point but not both.
That alone would stop the need to chase the spam.
The entire Patron ability just needs to be redone. If you have a patron ability that has to be used every single turn then it is fundamentally broken compared to the rest of the games design they even showed that they know its broken because they specifically made the Duke of Crows unable to be spammed every turn.

I think it may actually be in a good place now, at least, it should be tested in it's current state before making any judgements. They can't snowball as easy because their 3 gold gets converted into 1-2 power early game, forcing them with no way to stack the 2 prestige cards unless they're also buying from the Tavern and getting lucky.

Well what do ya know, if it sticks I actually got one right. I haven't played on ToT PTS because I haven't been able to get live matches, at least not within 3 minutes or so when I've been on actually trying things out.

vRg is still a buggy mess and vDSR trifecta is basically impossible to achieve now.
Everything comes out half baked.
Instead of finishing up the hybridization changes like dual type jewelry damage glyphs or potion hybridization they decided to break the rest of the game.

So look at how it works first:
- Favoured - pressing it gets you 1 power, -1 for every 4 cards you have, earn the +2 prestige card.
- Neutral - pressing it gets you 1 power, -1 for every 6 cards you have.
- Unfavoured - pressing it gets you 2 power, no conditions.
Esentially, if a player presses Neutral with not enough cards to hit 18 for a total of +2 power, Unfavoured is better than Neutral.
So in my game against Nefas, he would change it from Neutral to Favoured on his turn, then I'd change it from Unfavoured to Neutral on my turn.
This back and forth gave me +2 power and only gave him +1 power, since the patron costs 3 gold, there was never enough with the 0-2 gold remaining to buy something from the Tavern.
This back and forth happened for 10+ turns between us, the game ended with both of us only having basic cards and power from the patron with me having a 20 point lead to 40 against him.
I'm guessing Nefas thought it was funny, so he just kept "falling" into the same trap on purpose after 2-3 turns. The game was over in 3 minutes.

Yeah I think most people don't understand that it's risky to try and play the spam.
I beat any player who tried the spam. They don't seem to understand I get +2 power and they only get +1 power. It's a slow burn and by the time they realize what they're doing, it's too late.
The best is when you got good gold per turn and can manage to both counter their patron and keep build a deck.
It doesn't need a need.
