Mythic Lead Proposal

I am currently farming a lead that drops in a trial. It hasn't dropped after 6 runs. As a busy adult I don't have time to endlessly run a trial for a lead that seems to have a wildly low drop rate.

In fact, I've only had one mythic I farmed that the leads in total took less than 10 hours.

I feel that some leads, such as the sunspire one, should have compounding drop rates.
If the drop rate is 5 percent and it doesn't drop from one run, next run is 10 percent. If it doesn't drop then it is 20 percent.

This way mythics can still be a "process" to get but aren't as frustrating, time consuming and tedious as they currently are for people who have busy lives.

Zos: you seem to be interested in changing a ton of fundamentals of the game quite frequently in the name of making things a bit more manageable. This is one of them.

    I think that it would be awesome if there was an alternative/multiple ways to get mythic leads. It is not about hard or easy content or buying or not buying DLCs, but rather the fact that there are ALWAYS problems with obtaining mythic leads. And those problems can be divided into 3 categories:

    1. Extremely, unreasonably low drop rate:
    I still remember farming Falkreath Hold for Belharza's Band lead, and I had to do it around 50 times. Same with Mora's Whispers Deadlands lead. I had to kill around 1K of those Watchlings, till I got the lead.

    2. Too little sources of lead drop vs demand (amount of players trying to get it).
    Oakensoul's Stormhaven boss or Murkmire safeboxes / Thieves Troves, or Harpooner's Wading Kilt Shadowfen water plants / plants. It is ridiculous.

    3. Lead being located in very hazardous / toxic / difficult place.
    Whenever it is IC, Cyro or Dragonstar Arena or a "not so easy" DLC trial - it makes content kinda locked and inaccessible. Some people simple avoid PvP areas no matter what, or they don't do Arenas / trials because of group finder not supporting it.

    I think It would be nice if we for example could get 1 - 2 last missing leads somehow. For example, if the mythic requires 5 pieces, and you got 3 out of 5, you could get the missing ones by doing some other content, or maybe even buy it from a special NPC. I guess no one would be sad & upset if we had such an option.

    I have unpopular opinion. Lets make them tradeable and lift the restriction of not being able to get a lead if you have not dug up one yet.

    Very first problems is that all that archeology was introduced like "you will get leads wherever you go", and that was even true except Pale ring. But with High Isle the whole system became just an absurd grind fest...
