No loot from dead enemies after adding the Daedric Curse ability

I started a character and everything was fine until at a certain point I added the Daedric Curse in the Deadric Summoning skill line. After chosing it, no loot comes from killing enemies. I have tried to kill enemies in different ways, also to not use the Daedric Curse, but nothing, enemies never become yellow after killing them and no loot appears ever.
Also, I have been using the Daedric Curse for half an hour now, and it's not leveling. Absolutely no progress on the progression bar of the skill.
I have tried to log out, and also to restart the game several times.
Help! :-(
