How are Sorcs compared to Wardens this patch?

Screaming Cliff Racer (morph): This morph now increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 100 for 10 seconds after hitting an enemy and increases by an additional 200 when hitting an Off Balance enemy, rather than increasing its damage by up to 15% based on your distance from the enemy. The bonus Weapon and Spell Damage is tracked separately so you do not need to worry about losing the bonus when hitting an enemy that is no longer Off Balance.

This change concerns me as sorc has a similar passive but has to slot class skills to get it.

Is this fine or should I be concerned?

I mean you can just look at the patch notes. no significant buffs to Mag Sorc, and two major nerfs to Stam Sorc.
then there's Warden with the 10% damage nerf.

What about numbers wise? I only run a Stam Sorc and a Stamden, so I can't give you numbers on magicka variants, but here were my previous two builds.

On Live: My sorc is a casual build. It does 90k DPS and runs the Oakensoul Ring. After the patch, it deals 50k DPS. This is also a slight byproduct of the ring being nerfed, but that's still a 45% decrease in damage. The ring contributes to ~15% of the loss.

My Stamden was a build I used for end game content. It dealt 130k DPS. After the nerf, it deals 90k DPS. That's a 30% damage decrease.

So the nerfs, without changing your builds, will drop your damage by 30%, approximately. Assuming your play stam. I was able to prop my Stamden up to 100k dps after some rotation and skill changes, btw, which is a 23% damage decrease. I wasn't able to prop up Stam Sorc, though that's again a byproduct of the ring and the fact that Stam Sorc really doesn't have many skills in their class toolkit.

As a note, this does take into account the Trial Dummy changes.

Thanks, I see it now in better perspective
