spirit guardian give -50%heal , and going to die when got 30k dmg , this dmg on pvp and pve its a MYSERI dmg , spririt guardian its going to be useles skill , before this update you can use it for the mitigation , but not this going to die... intensive mender = more heal , hafl magicka required and NOT DIE ... you dont got the mitigation but... its useles if this die with 30k dmg xdd cya necromancers tanks!!

Necro has been over performing for awhile and needed nerfs. Intensive mender is probably the biggest culprit out of everything, as it was by far the strongest HOT in the game and made killing teams with multiple necros near impossible.

Spirit guardian was also overpowered but more in a solo setting rather than a team setting. I agree with the people suggesting that spirit guardian may have been over nerfed. 10% unnamed mitigation is too good though, so some kind of nerf is justified, but perhaps they should add better utility to the guardian in some way

I agree with the healing morph - it definitely missed the HoT nerfs from a while back so it was a clear outlier among class healing abilities.

For the Guardian, just nerf it down to a flat 5% unique mitigation and give it back its immortality. If people are still scared of that then turn it into Major or Minor Protection.

The fact that your HoT can literally be killed by an opponent is just bizarre. Imagine if someone could just terminate your Vigor after only one or two ticks - nobody would stand for that - it's like Nocturnal's Ploy applied to your class heal.

spirit guardian on LIVE server actually heal with 5k spell dmg only 4,6k...... its necesary -50% heal? , got 2,3k + pvp -55% , 1,1k aprox.... and now die with 30k dmg?¿?¿ you see taht a good CHANGE??¿?¿? , if you say intensive mender , yes this heal aprox 7k 9k , this can be nerfed to 6k , or 5,5k , but now go to heal the same at actual spirit guardian... remember with 5k spell dmg , not its a low spll dmg.... this change only DESTROY the spirit skill ... pvp -55% , nerf -48% , result = sprit Guardian , die with 30k dmg (this is aprox 3-6 seconds on pve and pvp from the 15s of the real skill), heal aprox! 1.1k with 5k spll dmg (and the heal its low not is faster healing)... conclusion this is useles skill , and ofcourse this cost x2 resources than Intensive mender , Finalle intensive mender , duration around 8s , heal the same at spriti guardian with 5k spll dmg , 4,6k heal - 55% pvp , got 2,3k , and this dont giv you any other bonus , and cost 1/2 of spirit guardian.... Final conclusion , Necromancer lose the possiblity of be a ""good"" tank , spirit guardian go to be useles , why use it only for the mitigation, intensive mender... extreme low duration of heal , heal low and not the best heal... spirit guardian RIP , and intensive mender... 1/2 rip... (Sorry for my english , not its the best)

No man , with 5% its not worth , and with mayot or minor protection its useles , because a lot of skills only for get sloted or a lot of sets give you it.... mayor and mayor not got x2 , got usles again , spirit mender need be inmortal , and need 10% mitigation for be ""worth"" the heal its insanely low , 4,6k with 5k psll dm... reduce its 20% , 15% but no 50%... insane (Sorry for my english , not its the best)

The 8.1.2 health adjustment to the spirit guardian (from 3k to 30k) is a nice step that I think will allow that morph to remain usable at least in some situations.

I'm sure people will test it, but I suspect it's still probably a bit low.

It's probably more case dependent now. What I had in mind initially was my own usage in the solo arenas, which I am guessing will probably be ok?
But for a pve tank it's probably lost a lot of usefulness.

Well it does mean the necro can take an extra 300k damage before the spirit guardian dies. That's an enormous difference.

Honestly, IMO this is the only skill that is actually fixed in the 8.1.2 patch notes.

I don't understand this dying concept. ZoS wants skills to be easier to use. The early death component is too complex.

A beginner tank is supposed to now pay attention to when the ghost dies? That assumes it's even worth slotting.

If the adjustment wasn't intended for PvE then maybe just change the mitigation part to Major Aegis

It would require testing, but the fix to spirit guardian looks good to me. Still heals a bit and can hopefully once more do the job it is designed for. Good. The low hp on it was the only thing that really concerned me.
Struggling to find a new class to call home. Please send help.
