Oakensoul is in a very good state now. I've talked to plenty of people who still use it. People are clearing PVE solo arena content for the 1st time with it, even post-nerf.
People were pissed (understandably after paying for the expansion) about it getting nerfed post-live, but it should never have gone live as it did. So many players gave ZoS the feedback here and on PTS that Oakensoul was broken, and they disregarded it.

Oakensoul was meant to be easy play for accessibility NOT the ultimate weapon of mass destruction.. it provides most of the important buffs allowing you to wear whatever you want and still have major sorc courage etc without having to hammer aditional abilities etc to keep them up! Its pretty good the way it is now imo
We're talking a 10% difference in critical damage. What you're feeling is a loss of several damage buffs, not specifically force.
It's also very easy to build over 100% crit damage without major force IF that is how you want to shape your damage output.
If you have a physical or mental limitation that prevents smooth bar swapping or buff management, oak is still great for that. Oak 1 bar still very strong by all accounts.
But now you can build more damage to equal or beat it if you do not have any accessibility issues. That is how it should've been released to begin with.
People want their easy mode. Especially when it’s a game wrecking easy mode.
Did someone just use Graven Deep to justify why Oakensoul should get major force? Yeah great comparison there, a five second stacking mechanic versus 100% uptime.
What do we slot on our back bars for major force? What can we slot on our back bars for major force that gives 100% up time, and no opportunity cost to something potent, like a damage dealing ultimate on our front bar?
Alternatively, minor force is something that's a mainstay of my back bar, all the time. If I wanted a fair mythic that takes away my back bar, but gives me a good chunk of what I use that back bar for anyway I'd want it to have minor force. Especially so that I can benefit from any major force buffs my coordinated team might be so nice to share.
