Nightblade skill changes question

Hello!
I noticed that there were a few changes to the assassin's blade morph Killer's Blade, but nothing for the other morph, Impale.
I just want to inquire as to why impale didn't change with the patch while killer's blade got a few. Mostly out of curiosity, and wondering the thought behind that. As far as I'm aware, the only bonus impale gets from the base morph is a 28 meter range.
