    7 or 8.

I think part of the issue is that the dev team considers this the last part of one larger set of changes which is easy to see when you have the whole roadmap in front of you but players just see a series of smaller sweeping changes so to us that's what we see.

We have to realize that we see 6 weeks in front of us while the devs might be seeing 2+ years in front of them. When both sides realize they are looking at a different game, it starts to make sense that we see things completely differently.

I have two pvp toons I absolutely love to play. MagDk and Magden. Both were just gutted, and the change to warden is so fundamentally game changing for that class that I won't even know how to play it when the patch goes live. My magden is 5 star. And I won't know how to play it. I'm on console so I can't practice on pts. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd put it at about 20. Zos and their devs just destroyed any interest I had in carrying on with this game.

Done caring really. I play a couple of hours a week in PvP where it used to be nightly.
Now, with these changes making only spammables worthwhile, I can't see a reason to even do that.

    9. Only because there's a couple changes I kinda like. For example, they changed the Flurry animation. Mind you it's just reusing the light attack animation (very lazy IMO), but the old animation felt like trash to use. At least I'd consider using it now. They also buffed NB a bit, though it's kinda hard to be excited about the bottom of the barrel getting a small boost (PVE not PVP).

Otherwise I dislike most of the rest. Oakensoul nerf, nerfs to every class across the board sans NB, an animation change for Jabs that looks terrible and feels bad in comparison to the old jabs, light and heavy attack nerfs with heavy attacks being so nerfed that it kills heavy attack builds despite ZoS implying they weren't going to kill heavy attack builds (but not explicitly saying they weren't going to since they totally were). I've been playing since Beta. I'm going to continue playing this game. I don't play as often as I used to, and I only play 3 characters actively; a Magplar, a Stamden, and a Stam Sorc with the Oakensoul Ring. All three got gutted, lost about 20-30k dps across every one of the characters I actively play. Feels bad. But it's such an outrageous change that I doubt it'll stick for long, so I'm gonna stick around to see this *** show play out.

I don't mind big changes when they are awesome.

Hybridization was a big change, and it felt awesome because it allowed me to make a ton of new builds.

Big changes that make everything less fun and effective are demoralizing af.

No, the ridiculous part wasn't the post, the ridiculous part was when Rich was complaining about us not trusting him. Like, sure, I know the guy, but, this pattern of behavior from Wheeler is why no one trusts these kinds of changes when we're first told about them.

Yeah, trust is hard to gain once they lost it. They should understand this first and then work to gain trust of players.

The changes are pretty relentless. And not little, either. Pretty sure the said they would stop with the massive game changes a couple years ago, but seems to have gotten worse.

And then there is the game breaking sets.

Worst part is, I don't agree that the changes are for the best. Constant dumbing down of rotations. Hybridisation, more obscene procs and Oakensoul. I understand they want to sell the game, but, I think a balanced game that rewards and encourages skill and effort is healthier for everyone and encourages longevity.

Having said that, I am looking forward to pvp next patch. No more HA dks. Nerfed Oakensoul. Longer cool down on DC. And performance was improved. I don't like the dot standardisation to 20 secs and reduced ticks. I think that hurts a lot of pvp builds. And I am glad I don't PVE anymore because a rotation of 4 or 5 dots and 15 spammables would bore me to tears.

Seriously, you don't raise the floor by lowering the ceiling.

it isn't though. it's just nerfing everything.
sorcs are dead. they got nerfed to oblivion and got nothing in return. almost every skill on both bars AND light attacks got nerfed.
what's left for sorcs? what skill are they meant to slot instead of the nerfed scamp, the nerfed twilight, the nerfed atro, the nerfed crystal weapon, the nerfed bound armaments, the nerfed hurricane?

Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

Add a Scribing skill that works like Arcanist beam.
    ---
Veteran players have been alienated and disengaged from Overland since One Tamriel, due to the lack of difficulty, and pushed into dungeons and trials; the minority of content in the Elder Scrolls Online. We can't take the repetition anymore, fix Overland engagement for Vet players. I don't even care if it's not combat related anymore, just make Overland engaging again.
    ---
Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. Make a self debuff mythic. Literally anything at this point.
