apart from draw distance they can improve shaders:
- water
- shadows
- volume lighting and fog
- grass
- real footprints in the snow/sand
- more particles from usual movements (like mud from under the hooves when riding a horse etc)
All this does not require redoing anything and everything. Just some shaders here, some small textures there. No more difficult than modeling a new Indrik

The MMOs with the most staying power like WoW, ESO, FFXIV, RuneScape, SWTOR all show some element of age but still attract substantial player bases because they accommodate a wide range of system specs.

A re-work of all the textures is not what I'm asking... thats just not feasible. How about the increasing the high detail draw distance? For static objects (buildings , terrain , etc) and players?

Black Desert is only looks great regarding that boobs and other attractive female parts xd Other than than - nothing special.

i realize they gotta accomodate console players. i dont see why they can't scale back the console client... just allow a high res texture package for PC players

I don’t know what you’re talking about. The game looks freaking amazing on my PS5 with 4K TV. I’ll have to find a nice screen snapshot to share here.
