in the new awesome eso event, there are these loot boxes you can get by doing some things, and one of the ways you can get it, is to steal, for me, it's sounds way more easy, but when u do, you can't make them "clean" or 100% yours, and will always count as stolen...

its probably a bug, its similar to the issue from another event you could get event boxes from thieves troves which contained key fragments that had the same issue, you could not fence them because they are not sellable to npcs, but you could not launder them either

they really need to just make every item in the game have the ability to be laundered if its somehow marked as stolen

i would consider it a bug, if you cannot launder it, that means it permanently has a chance to be taken by a guard for something dumb happening

just because "thats how it works" does not mean that functionality is necessarily correct, you should always be able to launder something if its marked stolen
