The game's native map is woefully lacking

Can we please get a minimap option on console as an alternative to the top compass on top? Or have it bring up the map in transparent state so we can refer to it while riding. Additionally, the ability to zoom in deeper when on the world map would be appreciated. Also the ability to create pins that persist when swapping between characters would be nice so we can easily find things like mages guild books after finding and noting the location the first time. And finally this probably an issue with the zone guide more but it would be nice if we didn't have to complete the zone's story before we get shown skyshatrds, delves, and so on.

Hopefully ZoS will integrate these kinda of things into the main game over time though. I mean, they've already done that with a bunch of add-ons. I mean, we used to need an add-on to show skyshard icons on the map - not anymore.
