...and then there's me who hasn't even noticed anything strange about Isobel's walk until reading this thread, because it's a thing I just don't care about. Why would you even think about such things? Whether in reality or in fiction, I see people as individuals with their unique traits and characteristics and don't believe that everyone and everything around me has to cater to my specific individual taste (and especially not to what I find attractive in that way).

If you don't want a robust female knight as a companion but a sexy hip-swaying skimpily dressed bellydancer type of woman, then maybe she's just not the right companion for you. I personally don't care much about Khajiit and prefer male companions over female ones, but I wouldn't ever suggest getting a customization option to turn Ember into a male Altmer instead. It's just not the character she is in this story.

Fully agree with this. These are characters in the game with their own unique background and upbringing.

Why is it that people think, because we have a discussion, that it is always something negative? Clearly if you have a Companion and you DON'T notice these things, then apparently you're not paying attention to them. :p I don't think anyone has said anything particularly negative about the fact that she has a very masculine walk, just pointing it out. Although, again, they make her a lesbian and then give her a very masculine walk to further make the point, just seems like they're playing into stereotypes IMO. They also go from giving her a very pleasant facial appearance in her quests, to a 'resting Isobel face' on the actual Companion model. Hmmmmmm.

Oh, and just for the record, Isobel IS my favorite Companion, as is Bastian. I'm just discussing my opinion and pointing out what I see.

You have quite a lot of biases and assumptions about gender and sexuality that’s why other players including this one is pulling you up on.

Do I? Hmmmm... being a gay man who is used to seeing stereotypes perpetuated, I think I have a bit more experience dealing with the stereotype issue.

EDIT: I'm also curious when you say assumptions about gender and sexuality? Did you miss the comment by Mortens about how there was rumors about more between Isobel and Aurelia? Or how she even discusses her feelings for Aurelia? Or how she asks if Lyris is single? I'm not making assumptions, I'm going based on the information provided by Isobel herself.
