Game broken or bad luck?

I've been farming in 3 man group since high isle launch and no drop

Make sure you are entering the Atoll from the correct location. Drops are different depending on which zone you enter the Portal. Either Blackwood or the Deadlands.

i ran it a few times from blackwood with no luck. so i'm guessing deadlands?

Only from deadlands yes. Deadlands portals give 2 leads, 1 from big watcher and another from small watchers

at around 300 watchlings currently nothing even on an island that has 2 real watchers as well

got sinew off cloth nodes in deadlands and bloodshot oculus in cauldron, imp prison one took 3 tries but many hours no luck in Atoll

2 leads from Atoll portals (from big watchers and watchlings) DO drop, just got both of them. I suggest farming at the corridor area just before reaching the final boss of the portal. There are lots of watchlings there. Don't forget to kill the mobs inside the lava pool as well (2 flame atronachs and 1 fire behemoth) because attacking them also triggers watchling spawn.

Update to forum

I've been farming this crap since high isle launch and got NEITHER of the two leads in almost nine hours of farming!

I am in the deadlands port

Is this glitched?

It once took me like 4 days of that level of farming to get the wild hunt lead, so it's impossible to know based off 1 person's efforts unfortunately. It could be glitched, or you could be very, very unlucky.

i was farming it with a friend clearing all the areas before boss, roughly 600 kills total between both of us and not a whisper

Seeker-Sinew Thread - 2881 Raw Silk, 1 lead
Lurker-Skin Sheath - 291 chests and counting

Not the best luck, but have had a few. Not being able to loot the watchers and watchlings is a bigger problem, it seems

yea 2/3 of the watchlings I kill I cant even loot

how long you spent farming?

Personally, I spent like 2.5-3 hours total in atoll portals

2-3 hours farming watchlings in a group of people and even though I didn't get it, a couple of other people in the group did, so at least we know it drops.

Seems like I got lucky, I farmed a Deadlands Atoll with a friend and got the Watchlings lead after about 30 minutes. So can confirm it drops.

If you want a tips for faster farming, go to a place where Watchlings spawn during an encouter (through portal after being in combat), and just kill the watchlings without killing other mob, kill yourself, and repeat (watchlings will spawn again since they spawn after being in combat)
