The new quick select wheel that's coming is only for PC/Mac?

The Update 34 Preview article that just released states, "With Update 34, we’ve added new functionality to the Quick Select Wheel on PC/Mac, allowing you to better organize and free up space for more quickslot items."

I hope so, I play primarily on console, I really did not like new wheel. It is mentioned under base game updates in the first pts patch notes though, does not mention only PC.

That's what it appears to say. I don't think Zos ever specifically said which platforms they were bringing the new quick select wheels to, but I, and I'm sure many others, assumed it would be for all platforms.

Disappointing to say the least if true. I mean we don't get add-ons, I am sure PC have probably got an add-on for this already, if not it could be done. It's us console players things like this need to be done for......

I'm with you as a console player, I'm not really sure why it would be limited to non consoles

Got an eye on this also, I hope it's a misprint.

Presumably console will have access to the additional quickslot wheels, since you can use them when using gamepad mode on PC.

Note that this change means there is no longer an emote wheel--instead, you can hotkey emotes directly.

Even in gamepad mode? That would mean if it is ported console may not have an emote wheel

Well, PC does not have an emote wheel, so consoleros already have an additional wheel. I assume that the new wheel setup will come to console sometime later.

Personally, I‘m looking forward to the new wheel on PC because I haven‘t used game addons since Oblivion, I don‘t plan on using any in the near future, and I really want an ‚emote wheel‘ of sorts.
