..well apparently not it seems. I was wondering if there is such a thing as a wild animal category you can add to housing, specifically a Squirrel - I would love to add one or more of them and set them on a path around the garden/woodland area of the house. I guess they may have to be a 'pet' to achieve that however.

So, who else might want to use wild animals in a housing setting? And may I have a squirrel for the house please ZoS?

It might be nice to add wild animals that aren't necessarily pets and allow us to set them on paths, the same way we do with houseguests. I get a feeling if they come, they'd only be sold as pets (which to be fair, isn't a bad thing, 2 for 1 lol).
It would be nice to have a wild-animal pet pack someday. But I think they're being added independently and through a large time period.
I recently got a white bunny pet which kinda serves the wildlife theme. I don't remember how I got it. But they'd probably do the same with squirrels and maybe some deer that isn't glowing or has particle effects.

There is a pet that's just a swarm of moths, so a pack of squirrels could be possible. I myself wouldn't mind a flock of small birds. There was also a furnishing pack a while ago that had a swarm of minnows, and some jellyfish, so, i wouldn't mind more like that either.

I love this idea! Would really liven up some of the woodland-themed homes I have

I now have 3 different types of rabbit/hare and a couple of different fawns.... it would be three but I haven't purchased the new Chapter yet so didn't get the white one.

Now that does allow for a certain amount of "wildlife" in my homes plus I have frogs and also the moth swarm, I believe there was a butterfly swarm too HOWEVER just the above mentioned items will exceed the allowed limits without adding any house guests.

So I heartily agree groups of animals would be wonderful, the unfortunate thing is they would most likely be crown store items and financially out of my reach.

That being said I have used my Seals of Endeavor for some, in my opinion, very nice furnishings that I would normally not have been able to get!! 🐇🦋🐿

For my wildlife I've used my pets: fawn, rabbit, and fox. More wildlife would be appreciated for housing, however!

I'm all for it, especially birds that can fly through the house.

In my houses I would really like my cats to mew and my crows to caw, spontaneously ie without having to click on them.

I don't need them to speak, just make some environmental sounds already. These assistants cost some serious amounts of currency so how about enriching my house by making some noise? Please?

Non-pet wildlife furnishings would be fantastic. Let's hope they add them to an event, antiquity, achievement furniture vendor or luxury furnisher instead of super expensive im crown store.

When I first got ESO and logged in to create my Bosmer toon there was a squirrel outside my window that was eating another squirrel. Of the course of playing through the Morrowind Beta I watched this little family of squirrel viciously hunt down, murder, and eat a family of mice as well as a black bird that fell to the ground with a broken wing after trying to murder a dove and losing the fight. Very enjoyable, creepy, and I took it as a good omen for my Bosmer.

I would love to have squirrels and other wildlife in my yards. There is already a bush that has butterflies fluttering around it, so why not a tree with a squirrel scamping about on its limbs? Or a nest of babies birds with their parents bringing them food. It would really add life to our homes.

I've always wanted them to add an animated flock of chickens that would just count as a furnishing, and wouldn't count as part of the collectibles for the home.

Part of the problem tbh is the tight limit on pets. Plenty of small critters that just can't be used if we can only manage so many, especially when other houseguests count against that limit.

They could be counted as furnishings and not pets. They could be part of another furnishing, like the squirrel could be part of a tree furnishing. We have trees that are animated now and have petals fall off of them so I know it's possible.

As long as they aren't animated then furnishing would work. Perhaps a stuffed squirrel!

Have we ever had a pet Squirrel option?

    No squirrel pet.

I was thinking along the lines of the 'wild' squirrels in game, along with the crows, rabbits and foxes etc you see running around that help make a region look 'alive'. There are also cultivated animals too, sheep, cows and chickens. I know we have some pets in that can be used instead, but, I was looking specifically for squirrels.

Furnishing would work, although taxidermy was not really the option I was looking for! I need a Necro then tee he. But thank you all for the feedback, maybe we may see it offered at sometime.
