This will not result in any appreciable performance gain in-game, but it will result in a more reliable service overall that needs fewer unplanned maintenances.

They've said repeatedly that there would be no performance boost.

Mostly the same so far, except…. Multiple instances of loooooong load screens. No pattern, but leaving house, exiting outlaws’ refuge, or just porting between wayshines usually normal but sometimes taking 90+ seconds. Did not have any problems like this before today’s update.
