Monday's patch notes featured: Added tapestry furnishings featuring Tales of Tribute artwork. These can be found rarely from Tales of Tribute match rewards.
Has anyone received one yet and if so what do they look like?
Sure.
@Haarkan
On the left: Hagraven Matron Tribute Tapestry (blue quality) (I uploaded more screenshots here: ESO-Hub )
On the right: Serpentguard Rider Tribute Tapestry, Large (purple quality) (More on ESO-Hub as well)
I really like the looks of those and hope to find a few more over the next PTS weeks. There seem to be 7 different motifs, according to ESO-Hub's data extract, and for each motif there's a blue quality small tapestry and a purple quality large one.
Motif List:
- Blackfeather Knight
- Hagraven Matron
- Hlaalu Councillor
- Knight Commander
- Prowling Shadow
- Pyandonean War Fleet
- Serpentguard Rider
I was afraid of this, like many others, that there will be furnishing drops from the card game.
So, we like the card game or not, we have to play it if we want certain furnishing. It was OK-ish that you did this with antiquities, it made sense for some pieces, that we excavated antiques or relics. I did not mind much, but I dislike this move. The card game shouldn't have anything to do with housing. It's already enough that we have special furnishings available only through crown packs or gems.
All of this would be acceptable if ZOS would be more active in housing dev, more interested in player feedback, and would offer more housing content ($100 manors is not it). Housing enthusiasts are already paying a lot of money to enjoy this game, and what they get is more grinds for little content.
I really wonder if ZOS devs actually spend time to decorate a $100 manor, by trying to farm all the runes, heartwood, blueprints, and tons of gold required. Because if they did, they would see it's not fun at all.
