There's some great emotes like flip the bird,or kiss my mistletoe ( mistletoe is on butty)

it takes time thou for some .. some have jobs and still play free to play.. gems earned in events and other like pvp areas could help alot..

I think most ESO players have jobs.

More importantly though a lot of endeavours don't take a lot of time to do. I get about 2 hours to play on a good day (and some days I can't log in at all) but I can usually make time to do 2-3 of the quicker endeavours when I am online, like killing 15 things with weapon skills or looting 10 containers. I don't do 3 daily endeavours every day, or the weekly every week, but it's enough to allow me to save up and buy some things from crates I wouldn't otherwise be able to get.

I don't support crates using either crowns or gold, so I only have gems over the years from the free crates and oururobooros ones. I generally do save stuff like this, especially since I'm not regularly getting more gems, although a few months ago I pretty much exhausted the rest of my gems from buying the celestial robe (had to save endeavors for a mount). I'm ok with it because I don't think they'll ever make a better robe for my main character, so it was worth it. I only have like 30 gems now.

Yeah, I've never purchased a single crate, and don't ever plan to. Despite that, I've been able to collect quite a few non-combat pets and mounts by converting the stuff from free crates into Crown Gems. Twitch drops rock!

Yeah, I had a couple hundred Twitch drop crates, and I think I have received all the special prizes. It would save me time if they just handed out the expected amount of Crown Gems, instead!

How do you know when there's drops on?

After saving them some, I always aiom to get new skins and new outfits, can care less about mounts so genera;;y dont have to save long

I spend them if I see anything worth getting or anything I need.

When enough of them have built up I spend mine on a radiant apex if there's one I really want. I've only been able to acquire two this way (the Welkynd Courser and the sparkly spacecat) because the gem cost is so high, but it's nice to have the ability to do this now. I spend my seals more freely, on things like style pages or costumes, and in fact I just spent a bunch on the Bloodroot Spriggan polymorph and now have hardly any left.

Never spent any Crown Gems ever. Got all 14 of them still sitting there.
