5 stone atronach endeavor

I ended up skipping this one. When I tried Bloodroot Forge it would only let me get 2 and I didn't want to run a whole trial for a daily endeavor. Is there a better spot for these in the game that I'm missing?

Stone atronachs? Never even heard of them, and I thought the iron ones were scarce.

Either run through Moongrave Fane or face the final boss of Falkreath Hold, as it can summon Stone Atronachs multiple times.

As others have said many of these spawn throughout Moongrave Fane.

You'd finish the endeavour even before reaching the final boss who does spawn some during the fight as well.

I have also heard from a guildie that stone husks might count for the endeavour but I cannot 'independently verify' this information.

The stone attronachs are the ones that look like spiders in a sense, but made of rock and with 4 legs. I think I've only seen them in Aetherial Archive (which is a Trial) and Falkreath Hold (which is a dlc dungeon, and only show up during the final boss fight)

True! I always confuse air atronachs as stone atronachs... Because they are made of stone. :D

It’s a garbage set of dailies today. Kill extremely rare enemies, and complete an entire trial for 10 points each. Oh, but you also receive a generous 2k XP. I just ran to the third boss in normal Bloodroot Forge. After you kill him, the stone atronachs he summons before death count toward the total.

Edit: It looks like any atronachs you kill during the boss' final summoning phase where he is near death and summons several at once are what count. The single ones during the earlier phases do not. It's dodgy if you do not actually kill them, but focus the boss only. I got credit for 3 in one run, 2 in another, and 1 in another. Just focus on killing any atronachs he summons in the final phase, and they should count toward the total, then you can kill the boss.

A trial is out for me because it's currently 8.40pm and I don't have time to do one before bed. Assuming I could even find a group now. And as for killing a player in Cyro... again, no time.

I can imagine that a lot of players will be confused as they have never ever seen or heard about Stone Atronach. And the game asks to kill 5 of them. Many people will think it is a typo and it was supposed to be Storm Atronachs... but no, it is Stone Atronach... Trial or DLC dungeon stuff. Kinda bad idea to put something like this as Endeavors were meant for every one, so everyone could get 3 daily.

I ended up Arrow-spraying some people in PvP Cyrodiil - you don't need to deal a killing blow, just some damage and it would count if the player dies.

I wouldn't have minded if when I killed the guy in Bloodroot I got them all done at once but I only ended up with 2. I had been killing them and they weren't counting so then I nuked him and ended up with 2. That seems like either they should be counting them more or they should reduce the number needed. I'll have to try Moongrave next time and compare I guess. Just ended up trading a kill in Cyrodiil with a guildmate instead.

"Kill one player in Cyrodiil" is way easier than you'd think. I hopped into Cyro on my crafter with terrible gear and got it in a few minutes just by healing people in a zerg. No real PvP required, honestly.

Moongrave Fane is definitely the easier of the dungeon options imo. Can get it done before the gargoyle boss.

This is one of those very rare days when I will not get 3/5 endeavors but console myself with 2/5. Not going after stone atronachs, a trial or killing another player. Probably 95% of the time I have no problem getting 3/5 but I do have some limitations where my elf either totally balks or simply can't be bothered - such as DLC dungeons, trials, Cyrodiil PvE, ANY PvP, killing innocents.
PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo

Honestly, other than stealing all of today's Dailies suck for me.

Been queueing all morning for Moongrave but it seems no one else is. I don't play PvP and probably can't even get a kill in Cyrodil. I don't own a home (I know there's a free one) or any furnishings and I've never set foot in a Trial before.

I hope this is not a trend going forward. Today's endeavors aren't things most people would achieve in a normal session of playing.

you can get a room for free in most larger cities in/near the inn.
E.g. in Rimmen right beside the wayshrine, or Vulkuhel guard, Maras public inn at the wayshrine.
There is a women you need to talk to, maybe first pick up a note marked with an arrow nearby.

Then you need only 1 furnishing, and place and remove it 7 times in the room, done.
You could use your banker or merchant in case you own one as furniture, or get a cheap one from a guildstore or homegoods furnisher (see map in large cities for location).
I think most rooms also already contain at least a candle.

According to hint they are somewhere in a craglorn ruin too.

    for cyro:
join a campaign, look on your map for a keep under attack. Use a transitus wayshrine to reach the closest keep, ride to that under attack. Stay behind experienced players, but use a long range attack (bow/staff) to hit some of the enemy players once.
If one of them is killed by experienced players, it will count for you.

In a keep, you also can buy a fire ballista for small gold, you slot and use it like a potion.
Use it instead of staff/bow when your faction attacks a keep, or from a wall to harm players attacking your keeps. It damages several enemies at once.

I use these simple strategies on my level 10 pve toons when I create new ones, to quickly reach the assault skill line level 3, this unlocks a 30% speed increase when riding (buying the first passive skill there).

As this endeavour repeats often, I really can suggest to try this small effort.

    Note:
once you arrive in cyro, activate "set home" in the campaign settings to get more awards, and then quickly do the siege weapon training quest (5 minutes) to gain 6000 alliance points, like this you also reach almost assault 3 already.

A while ago I saw a comment from someone at ZOS that the vast majority of players will just do the 3 quickest/easiest endeavours even if they do normally play content that would enable them to get another one. I sometimes wonder if they add choices like these to see what happens when there aren't 3 easy choices - how many people do a harder one and which one/s are most popular vs. just doing 2/3.

Alternatively each days list is automatically generated and aside from a few basic rules like making sure there's 1 PvP/PvX endeavour (PvX being things like kills with weapon skills) and no more than 2 DLC ones it can produce any combination, so sometimes we just get a bad "roll" and end up with 3 harder ones.

Unless my memory has gone completely, there is exactly one (1) stone atro in the whole trial, and it is a boss. Doing AA five times feels like an absolute chore.

That's why there are 5 options, although today is a bit more restrictive than usual with only 2 of them outside of trials, dungeons and Cyrodiil. Still, it gives more options than usual for those whose playstyle extends to those things.

The stealing one is a doddle, but even more so is the "Place 7 furnishings" one as that just involves zoning to a home and picking up an item, restoring it to the inventory and placing it again, rinse and repeat enough times with the same item. Utterly pointless.

Just want to echo that this is a terrible task for an endeavor.

Stone atros being in "craglorn" is not really true. They should say Bloodroot Forge specifically. Might as well say "complete Bloodroot or Moongrave."

But not a fan in general of the tasks that make you enter specific dungeons.
