Forum Feedback for ZOS

Hey... to the people who maintain the JavaScript associated with the forum.

Would it be possible to remove or update the late loading script that scrolls the screen? For me, this loads super late and I am already reading something when, all of a sudden, the page zooms off to somewhere else. At that point, I have to scroll back to where I was so that I can continue reading.

Just feedback and a request.

We've already tried: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/596835/is-there-a-setting-to-turn-off-the-forum-post-jumping/p1 ....but so far it's fallen on deaf ears. :/

    Very aggravating though, i agree.

It is annoying. Als surprised they have not had the contractor fix it since it’s the contractor that would have broken it.

Even if ZOS does decide to fix it, don't count on Vanilla (the forum software vendor) to move any faster than glacial.
They are s l o w to fix anything. And that's assuming they don't break something else in the process.

Unfortunately true. And I'm not sure that Vanilla has a "contractor" relationship with ZOS....

+1 for not being a fan of an app seizing control of my mousewheel. Very annoying.

Seriously, there is NO good reason for not using phpBB3 for a robust forum deployment. Using Vanilla.... is - just substandard.

*shakes head* Not optimal. Not even close. So, what I think is, they're hoping the forum software drives us all away so they can use only social media.

Well.... if that's the point, it will at least get me out of their hair.... Quite sure various mods would be happy about that.
