Sending Gifts in ESO (when both subscribed to ESO+)

So I tried gifting my friend who also has ESO+ and was charged the full price instead of the ESO+ discount.

Is that logical if both people have access to the discount but one wants to gift their friend? I can see it being regular price if one was not subscribed. But still, I feel like it would help get more people to subscribe if they found out that subscribers can send the discounted fee to non subscribers too

can you request a refund on an item gifted?, if so that's what I would do, then give my friend the crowns to buy it with once I got my refund.
Even with their so called discount, everything in the CS is grossly over priced.

Yeah I confirmed the price at checkout, but I’m saying the two discounts on applied so it’s like our memberships don’t count.

I could tell someone, “oh yeah, go get yourself something from the crown store, my treat.” But that’s defeats the purpose of a gift 😂

How do I give people crowns? Like give them a gift card to buy the crowns themselves? Or can you actually send just crowns in ESO

It’s really not the crowns. It’s the principle of what we both paid for, it’s not being honored and the description you linked does not include a disclaimer that if both parties had ESO+ it would not count.

It just says your discount won’t apply. So that’s a loophole someone can argue
