What kind of rewards do you want with the card game?

I know some of us hate it, but let's talk about what rewards you want to see?

I be want it to not be a grind. Play the game for some reward you’re playing for. Get the reward if you win. Not get 1 of 15 leads to the reward. Or, play for gold. No other reward. Play against other players not against rng.

None. But knowing ZOS they will probably put some new OP antiquity leads behind the card game to force players to engage with the card game.

I think they mentioned Transmute Crystals would be one of the rewards.

It's a resource building game, too, so maybe crafting mats? Especially things like Heartwood or Mundane Runes >__>...

Me, I prefer to play card games against the computer, not other people. I find playing against strangers too stressful. And I’m never a sore loser, but I’m always a very happy winner, and that sometimes makes my friends angry 😂

As far as rewards, I would like cosmetics (but only if they can also be obtained by purchasing them in the crown store and/or for gold for people who just can’t stand the thought of playing a card game), transmute stones, more cards for my deck, and gold. I’m open to other rewards too if other ideas pop up.

According to Pete and Rich during World Reveal, these are some of the things to look for as rewards.

Rewards will include things such as transmute crystals, unique cards, cosmetics, furnishings, gold, crafting mats and more they will share later.

I want the game itself to be rewarding. I want to play it because it's fun, not as a means to grind other things.

@Elvenheart You can play against npcs.

I'de like it to unlock a subclass skill where you can throw cards at enemies or even send them to the shadow realms.

My only gripe is the idea of letting a random person use the cards that I earned. There should be a separate mode for this. and I hope they do add it. This will allow you to have friendly duels with friends, but if theres a ranked there is no such thing as friendship only pain and suffering.

Something akin to the daily log in rewards so players don't feel compelled to participate.

Maybe if you play 100 hands you get a gaming table as furniture.

I want the character I play the card game with to be listed on leader boards, not my account name. I have a character in mind that will be my tavern gambler, and I want him to be the one renowned, not me.

The only reward I am wishing there is fun. Seems I am one of the few who are looking forward to that game. Sounds nice for a activity to bypass waiting times and you can just lean back and don't need to smash 10 buttons, as it is in majority of the activities in eso.

I like all the other aspects of the game. The card game just sounds like a relaxing activity. So I may spend my time with that instead of farming nodes

I'll be honest I'm not really looking for a card game in an mmo. I didn't really care for it in a certain single player game awhile back. I can always drive to the closest casino, or actually download a card game, but since it's coming I'm hoping it's not a slog fest grind. Make it an actual fun and alternative way to reasonably collect mats and transmute crystals. Make it rewarding enough so that I don't mind that I'm playing cards instead of adventuring

I don't want a card game. I want a game that works. At some point, they'll have to stop adding things that no one asked for, and listen to their community. Just hoping that day will come before it's too late.

I think this will be more popular amongst PC gamers vs Console gamers, imo it would have been better off just being a side thing in the base game for those who wished to engage, as it is now I can see them trying to manipulate us to buying the chapter ASAP with some endeavors attached to it, and/or antiquity

I'll buy it when it's heavily discounted since I have no interest whatsoever in a card game

I remember Pazaak fun in kotor and hope the game is as enjoyable as that (even if that was a derivition of blackjack).
I just hope they dont make this a PvP card game but a PvE one, because currently PvP gives waaaaay too many transmute crystals compared to PvE and this card game could be great to offer more non-pvp transmute crystals.

Maybe it shouldn't have any rewards. Having fun is the reward, hehe.

But in many card games you place bets and gamble items, so some rewards will no doubt be present.

I'd wanna see something exclusive, something special but not to crazy.
Maybe some non combat pets, appearance items perhaps. Maybe some mount, it could be another way to earn/win mounts.
