The last two event drop rates have been absolutely abhorrent.

A lot of the cool downs reset at 2:00 AM EST. So you could get one at 1:40 AM, and then it resets, and get another at 2:10 AM.
Some people actually do this for the first day of the event to get extra boxes by saving their quests until it rolls over. A friend of mine did this on 18 characters, and got 252 boxes on day one.0 -

Doesn't look like it. I pulled both motifs and plans back to back, though I'm yet to get a single purple furnishing plan. So far it's blue base game and blue Solitude, Reach and Leyawiin plans. I got two different DLC dungeon motifs from one batch of 7 boxes: Malatar chests + one of the cheaper Mazzatun pages.is there a cooldown on crafting motifs/furnishing plans for the anniversary boxes?0 -

I'm not ESO+, and got my style page on my first character the first three days. That didn't hold true today (I'm only through 2 characters so far, doing writs)0 -

This is only partially correct. If you get a second Saberkeel page in the same day it will reroll from the Firepot Spider pool instead. This is a separate roll, though, and is independent of rolls that give the Spider pieces. Basically the game will check to see if you get both Saberkeel pages and Spider pieces. They're two different item pools the game will check to see if you get a drop from every time you open a box. we use motifs to complete master writs to get vouchers for those voucher vendors to buy cool stuff to use or resell at a premium, so motifs are not just for outfit looks.
