I agree, I've never liked this event as the quests are just "meh" so I'm doing it for tickets since I just got my Akatosh skin and now have to rebuild the soulfire dragon pet.

I was fortunate enough to have ZOS encourage me to do something else these past three days; so, rather than doing a rinse and repeat of past years, I downloaded another game and invested $395 in an appliance that makes playing it more realistic. Of course, that's nearly four-hundred bucks that won't come to ESO.

Same happened with me. I can't collect fragments for sow. 3 days, 0 fragments here. I think it's bugged. Mementos fragments too.

Stopped doing the events after the first one for golden box and tickets, it takes me longer to throw everything away than it did to get the stuff.

I have never had "alts", prior to Update 33 going on PTS I had 50 or so characters across two accounts that were all equal individuals playing fully through the overland game. I haven't played any of them since, the AwA implementation made that pointless, I've just played a single character on a separate account. He'll do those events that I enjoy, although the Jesters Festival is far from being a favourite so I won't be doing much of that particular one. Any achievements earned will be his and his alone, as it should be in a TES-based MMORPG designed around individual characters. As for the pie, I have no use for xp boosts, I can't believe how quick it's been levelling a single character (through normal questing) instead of 50 !

And no, achievements aren't "kid stuff", they're both a means of character progression like levelling, and a way of tracking which of my characters have been where and done what - as the zone maps and guides will illustrate without distortion in a single character's case but not under the current broken implementation of AwA.

AWA has nothing to do with use of alts. Finished off some Mementos using my alts, and then leveled some with the Pie.

Now I'm doing some more for the Gold box daily until my tally is up to 12, or for the Gold box contents when that is done.

i used to do as many alts as I could stand every day before going snowblind on every event to get the achieves for every char, now thank goodness, only need to get my tickets and a couple extra coffers and I'm done, free to do other activities. Love the AWA for this.

Used to have a goal of getting 1 or 2 more characters the achievements each event.

Now, all I have to do is log onto my main, do one quest, then go play a different game (basically been forced to the last 2 days). Everybody is done. No need to spend that time in the game, also means no chance of me spending any more money either.

Last two days, I tried to do something after my ticket quest.

Crash w/ crash reporter when trying to deconstruct gear.

Crash w/ crash reporter when trying to collect my hireling mails.

Took it as a sign.

I hope we get to see those "performance improvements" from the loss of our characters. Catastrophic changes should result in significant measurable improvements... right?

I rarely use alts on holiday quests since tickets are per account. Only event I use alts is Pelinal's Mayhem: depending on the time of day, I use the alt whose Alliance has most of Cyrodiil.
