Can we get an extension on the Jester Festival?

They could in theory extend jesters by a couple days and add jubilee to it, but that's more strain on already bad servers.

That wouldn't happen. They would make the next event offer four a day instead of three or something along those lines. ZoS will make sure we have every opportunity to get the end of year reward.

You will miss out on some of the things that are offered now though. I am already rather annoyed at how they handle this, with a week long event where you can only get the style pages from gold boxes that you get once a day, leaving very few to get the chance to get the whole set. It is pretty much forcing people who want the set to spend crowns on it, and that is very not okey. It should be a choice, not something you are expected to do.

I cringe at thinking how this one will play out, being it is the most popular event of the year and so many people login only for it anymore. Not to mention they are all constantly crafting and swapping characters to boot. I really hope their servers have been truly fixed in the next couple of days, or it won't be pretty.

Not really. It has to be done. They're doing maintenance at as off-peak time as they can.

Nope, they are back to back:

The Jester’s Festival officially kicks off March 31 at 10:00AM EDT, and continues causing chaos until April 7 at 10:00AM EDT! During this jovial romp, you can acquire buffs to XP gains and earn event-specific rewards by completing Jester’s Festival quests.

The Anniversary Jubilee in-game event kicks off on April 7 at 10am EDT, and the partying won’t stop until April 19 at 10am EDT. Once the event begins, you can acquire the free Jubilee Cake Voucher quest from the Crown Store (listed under Quest Starters) and make your way over to the kitchen of the famous Chef Donolon.

Jester's ends at 10am EST on 4/7.
Jubilee begins at 10am EST on 4/7.

I'd prefer if they just got rid of all the events. They are just the same stale retread of quests every year.

I just lost 6 tickets because I forgot the cap was 12. I thought it was 20. Ugh, I'm so disappointed.

I would also like an extension. Thanks for a yet another maintenance. I know there aren't all that many of us in Oceania, but come on. Prime time, every time.

As a compromise, I'd suggest that all the fragments of everything offered this year stay in the store throughout the year. As in, no pulling the skin fragments when the mount fragments are introduced. Change the colour of the fragment names or something so they will be easy to identify at the Impresario. That way we who miss a day or two during an event can just catch up easily without having to wait until the end of the year to get whatever we're missing. It won't solve the problem of repeated maintenance, but it will make it easier and less confusing for people to benefit from the events.

I woke up at 3:30am today just to make sure I could turn in an event daily before work but made the mistake of taking a shower first so my hair could dry while I played...opened the launcher just after 4am to see surprise maintenance. I don't know what time I'm going to get home tonight or if I'll have the energy - or ability - to log in when I do. Is the official solution here really "buy tickets with crowns or wait until year end and hope you don't miss more stuff and be unable to catch up"?

It's not hard to understand. If they schedule events back to back and there is a need to extend one, they should figure it out. It's not a good reason for why they can't extend it. Sounds pretty clear to me...??? There is no insinuation. Not sure how you read that simple statement. smh
