Can we get an extension on the Jester Festival?

I asked about extending the Explorer’s Day Festival and the solution was XP scrolls. However, no double resource nodes.

I hope the solution this time is not more XP scrolls because my CP is already almost 2200 😅

YES PLEAS! @ZOS_GinaBruno I have guild members who get home and log in at prime time and can't get into the game yesterday or today and go to bed before its resolved because of RL! They have now missing 2 days of tickets. Extend it!

The Jester's Festival is only a week long, and some people also need to get all the achievements for it too. I don't know if they can with the Anniversary Event probably supposed to be popping the moment Jester Festival ends. But, with the first few days of Jester's Festival preventing people from logging in and doing the event, they might want to consider it also for those who need the achievements. As well as those who were unable to get tickets so far.

The sad thing is, there is no sign this is going to stop and the Jubilee will probably be affected. I hope I am wrong but this has been going on for quite some time.

Only been requesting character load for 42 minutes now, with 18 min until the servers are shut down and the "day" is lost. So, even if they don't or can't extend the event, maybe they should just auto mail everyone 3 or 6 tickets or something.

Not a good sign for the game though, these problems have been almost daily lately and the pop isn't even as crazy as it has been in the past.

We're not asking to cancel the anniversary event We are just asking to extend this one and postpone the anniversary event another week.

more like.. I dunno there just needs to be some solution than "tough luck, you missed out because the servers were messed up and you couldn't log in or even if you could log in you couldn't port to any of the quest locations without being kicked out of the game and then unable to log in"

This year the festival happened a week later than it should have, likely due to the various server stability issues and scheduled works on sharding. It's also the only event with a very inconsistent duration from one year to the next - from 5 days in 2018 to 13 days in 2017 and 2019. The only thing that never changes about it is running right up until jubilee, so there is no way to extend it. We've had extended jubilees though.

Have they ever extended an event because of server problems in the past?

The nearest I can remember to that is one year they cancelled the Undaunted event and added extra tickets to New Life because the group finder was completely broken on all servers.

Yes, they extended the Anniversary Event due to major problems with PC/EU a couple years back.

Please ZoS @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin do not extend anything under the current circumstances, in fact, take the server offline for all players and finish the sharding, cold storage, hotfixes and troubleshoot the hardware, please do not extend this longer than it needs to be. I'd rather have a few days of gardening instead of these constant frustrations.

Sadly, the logic will be that event tickets are purchasable in the crown store, so "you could still complete it".

Once you look at decisions through the lens of the crown store (turning players into payers), a lot of decisions and choices make a lot more sense.

Extend, don't extend. Offer extra tickets in the "catch up" event (they've done this in the past). They'll make the decision without any of our input.

You may miss some tickets but there will be more than enough to catch up once they resolve your issues

That wouldn't happen. They would make the next event offer four a day instead of three or something along those lines. ZoS will make sure we have every opportunity to get the end of year reward.
