Anyone else disappointed by recent event rewards?

Last event didn't really have much of interest, spent tickets on group repair kits .. looks like it'll be the same for the upcoming Jester Festival . wish they would add other things you could buy like unique furnishings or fragments towards a new pet.. something other than memento fragments and uninteresting style pages and fragments for pets most everyone has already earned

I think the main reward is supposed to be the pet and the skin you can morph it into.

They're never going to be able to find something that absolutely everyone likes and thinks is worth the effort though. I collected all the indriks because I really like them, but I understand why they stopped doing them and that a lot of people didn't even want 1. I don't like the new pet or skin but I assume some people do, and maybe I'll like whatever is coming up next.

im perfectly fine with not feeling like i have to farm all jester quests on all toons, i found many of them quite annoying (especially when you try doing them on 6 characters each day)

so i usually just get the tickets, if i have nothing else left to buy with tickets i just max out at 12 to be ready for the next event lol

I love when they have Crown Store-only furniture in there for tickets, so I totally agree on that. I wouldn't want something to be event ticket-exclusive, because that feels like a loss when people have to catch up on fragments and stuff.

I really really like the events that sell event related furnishings at the impresario. I think every event should have at least one.

At the start of the year I had a think about what I got last year- the pet, skin, personality, mount and house. And a think about how much effort I put in to get them.

There was nothing wrong with any of it- I'm sure some people loved it. But the reality is I don't use any of it.

So in the end I decided to skip this years.... whatever it is they're giving us- I didn't even bother looking. I still do the events to an extent but I just spend the tickets on style pages etc.

Not really complaining- i know other people really enjoy this stuff and good for them, it's just not for me.

I think it's fine, especially since the events usually never change each year and it's just the same grind of normal quests/dailies.

I'm all evented out, I am not a fan of this pet, or this skin, not interested in the gold birb either, so not even sure I'm going to bother with this event much other than maxing out my ticket total to 12

I wish they would put hoilday furniture in the event npc each time and not just sometimes

The only good thing about this event is double xp. I wish they cut this stupid holiday events and do more dlc celebrations like Summerset, Blackwood, thieves guild, etc. Those at least provide double resources and drops for various types of content. There is nothing exiting about doing same old quests every year for tickets and worthless boxes.

I wasn't interested in last years house, mount or skin so bought alot of repair kits. Plan to get the skin this time and see what the next bits look like before deciding

I personally like the idea of more rewards. For instance, I never buy mementos and other useless stuff. But I would love to see theme furnishing, like it was during Summerset celebration. Anyway, to each their own. So the more different rewards, the merrier.

Not disappointed by the rewards itself, but by the abysmal drop rates they have lately, for exaple the style pages that dropped from IC bosses during MYM, or the Warpaints dropping from the boon boxes.

I opened more than 150 boon boxes during MYM and got ONE single runebox containing the Warpaints. And I still could call me lucky, because some fellow guildies opened more than double the amount and got nothing, zero, zilch, nada.

Seems ZOS only knows the extremes, the years before the rewards dropped like candy so you only could destroy doubles, and now you're mostly not able to get one mere set of rewards without buying missing ones with event tickets.

I vote for new kind of rewards:

CrownStore reward: If you pay 10k Crowns for something in Crownstore, your lucky go UP and you get better rewards in free event!
The more you spend in CrownStore, more your lucky will rise up!

If no buy in crownstore... no luck... no nice rewards!
Eso Plus don't count!

Mementos… blegh… I’m still pissy that the ONLY vet DLC dungeon I have completed gave me a crappy salamander memento instead of a cool title, skin or personality

Not gonna lie. I think mementos are a worse reward than titles and dyes. They’re easily the worst reward zos can give out.

That said I love the outfit styles they keep introducing in these events so eh.

I’d love to see more personalities, costumes, polymorphs and hairstyles tho. Maybe the Veya hair from the next Daedric War celebration? Please? Or just slap it on the store, come on ZOS it’s easy to implement, let us have it!

The drop rates seem to vary according to the number of days in a given event, the total number of tickets that can be earned during the event, and the number of rewards that are offered. This event will be a bit shorter than usual, and there seem to be a lot of rewards for the total number of earnable tickets, so I would hope that the drop rates will be better than they were for the previous event.

It's a thin line ZOS walks with this. In the past when they've offered a bunch of stuff, people are upset that they can't get a little of everything because of limited tickets. If they offer too little, then the people who aren't interested in the main item for any given event are upset that they have nothing to spend their tickets on.

Personally it would be nice if they'd add a few pieces of furniture or something every event, but even if they did that, people would still likely complain that there's nothing they specifically want. ZOS will never be able to make everyone happy with this, because not everyone will like what they offer even if they stuff the Impresario's stock with a whole slew of things (and then deal with the valid complaint of there not being enough tickets to get everything).

IMHO the skin is just plain ugly and I have no desire to acquire it. As for the rest, I am indifferent to them. So yeah like the card game it's a letdown for me.

For some reason I got the first part of the goldfish skin so got the second bit last event and will finish it off in the Jesters Festival. I'll then get myself back to 12 tickets and take no further part in it, unless I decide I like anything new this time around. Whatever the next quarters thing is I'll make a decision on whether to get it or not next quarter.

I'm happy the stuff available with tickets is reducing as it means I can engage with the same tired events less and less each time around.

I agree with OP. Every year I was always excited about the awards we could get with the tickets. Mounts, housing - sign me up.

This year really doesn't hold anything of interest, and was the first year I didn't log in every day to complete the tasks.

Maybe it is a good thing that I don't feel the pressure of playing every day of an event?

I like new mounts and free houses are always good, as I never buy either with crowns at the moment. I use one of the skins I own on my argonian, but that's just because I found the skin in my collectables. I don't even remember getting it.
