Where did you see Gina post about it? I can’t find it.
There may be rare instances where you could get booted from the game with Error 326 and unable to log back into that character. If you run into this issue, please submit a ticket at account.elderscrollsonline.com.
Gina put up a warning notice about tomorrow's console patch... which in itself is a first to my knowledge.
Most of it sounds trivial but this bit about getting booted and having to submit tickets to get back in? A guildy pointed out she says it will be rare but in my experience from previous patch notes they use that word rather liberally.
And in my experience having support reset a stuck character takes around 24 hours.
A lot of us politely asked that this update be postponed until they could have some degree of confidence it was up to standard. This seems to indicate it isnt.

At least this time they've actually told us what the high level issues are going to be instead of pretending the patch is totally fine!!!!!!! and letting us find out that every single major issue that was present in the PC patch that they already knew about hasn't actually been fixed, they just didn't bother to tell us that these issues existed.

I had one get locked at about 8:15 am US MDT (PC NA), and another one at 1 pm US MDT (PC EU, but the same account as the first one). Sent in a ticket, not logging anyone else in until this gets fixed. I'll go play Skyrim or buy Horizon Zero Dawn....

I would like to know this as well.
Like I said I just don't want to get locked out. It really comes down to how "rare" this really is. None of us will really know until this goes live.
Their schedule doesn't call for another proper patch- what Gina calls the incremental, for another 6 weeks. So it's not like whatever we get will be fixed in a week or two.
Sylvermynx wrote: »At 5:40 pm US MDT, I received an email in response to my ticket, stating that both characters had been unlocked. That was in truth the case, things are now normal on that account both PC NA and EU. I will still not log in until this bug has been fixed.

They're never going to be able to fix bugs between the PC and console launch because the 2-week delay is to allow for the console certification process - meaning ZOS finish it and send it off for approval at the same time the PC version goes live and after that they can't make changes without having to resubmit it.
If a bug was bad enough that the patch failed certification they'd have to fix it and resubmit, but ZOS will know what kind of bugs will do that and presumably wouldn't send it off for certification if there was one.

Did you have to send a Game Companion report? Still waiting on my unlocks.

I've literally had this happen in the base game before, you just submit a ticket and they move your character. There's an area in Reaper's March that boots and locks out your character.
They're never going to postpone patches, we already know this.

So would I....

@renne where is that in reaper’s March? I want to avoid it.

Sylvermynx wrote: »Thanks renne. I wonder if it's got patched out - I was there just last week, and had no issues at all. I love it when that happens!)

It's near the lorebook west of Arenthia. Avoid that whole coast there.
