account wide map completion?

Yeah, since AWA I've been relying on Ulrich's Skill Point Finder and Silvereyes' Character Zone Tracker.

I'm not as mad at AWA as I was. I hated it at first, but now I have a new goal - try to make sure that each of my characters can get achievements of their own. True, my main still owns the main quest ones for all three alliances and most of the DLC zones, but now I can make sure that alts get something unique to them.

Like my werewolf owns all of the werewolf achievements. I also randomly got one of the monster trophies assigned to him, which fits since he's a hunter. My thief-y character got the safebox ones, and I'm even dragging my feet on the Blackwood portals since he's going to be the star of that story so he needs it. I'm also not doing Raz's quest in Galen since my AD character should be the one who gets that.

It still gives me some happiness to let them contribute now too. Yeah, there are times when the 'wrong character' can get something (my main's the one I PvP on and he's an Orc, but I was on my secondary when the hammer spawned right next to me and I was not going to miss that chance), but I'll work it out.

Still, I can't play without the zone tracker addon. I need to see what I have left to do.

It's a known issue. I reported it mid-year last year and it persisted into the new DLC, despite assurances that it was fixed with U36. I still don't accurately know what's completed on a map with my alts.

The way AWA has been implemented is extremely poor. Initially thought would just have to cope & get on with it, but the completion of zones has decreased my interest in playing my alts as it takes kerfuffle to track.

For example, this last event, I would have been running any alts that hadn’t done the New Life stuff, but no point now. All done years ago on my main.

Not joining in events is fine & my choice, but the map completion is just awful. No way around it. Its almost as if they don’t want people to replay the game, which is business suicide for an mmo.

Just wish they had properly thought it through.

Only the things you might want to repeat are done. Things like wayshrines and collecting skyshards must be repeated!

This add-on was developed to keep the zone map character specific and works great. I don't know if it would work for current characters because it required logging them all in before AWA went live, but it should work for new alts and new content. They are currently looking for someone to take over the add-on but it still works.
