It's a sad day for The Elder Scrolls. First TES game you can't play over from scratch, with a fresh slate to write your new story.

What new story? You mean when I left Raz to die only for him to show up in Dune. Story that gives choices only to have those choices not mean anything later? Story no matter how you do it is the same, nothing new about it.
This is a MMO, not a single player game. One that doesn't forces you to start from the very beginning as a new player. One you're not forced to run the story in a liner fashion. It's been a disjointed story since One Tamriel.

A fair challenge.
By the way, where DOES one leave Raz to die, optionally or otherwise? I've never seen that myself, although it gets mentoned from time to time.
The quest is called 'Gates of Fire' and takes place in Reaper's March (Senalana).FrancisCrawford wrote: »It's a sad day for The Elder Scrolls. First TES game you can't play over from scratch, with a fresh slate to write your new story.

Doesn't force... you're right it should be optional, and in both directions. This is a MMO, not a single player game. One that doesn't forces you to start from the very beginning as a new player.
