Hmmmm I feel like this is an elaborate ploy to show off your guy lol.
The limit is 72, not 100, and yes it does display like that, though I've never gone past 110, so I don't know if there's a secondary background limit. That's still strange because like I said, your inbox normally can only hold 100 at a time. I think as you delete mails the backed up ones will come through, but I don't think it's supposed to display like that. I don't usually have a full mailbox though.
They're only separated in the display, though. The mail limit is the same for all of them. The only "solution" would be to have them be actually different queues.I think ZOS could do something though.
They separated mails from players and all other mails. But it could be interesting to separate again :
- the pvp and dungeon rewards
- all other mails like objets from tradeguild (sold, experiated or canceled), and furnitures from provider
it's pvp rewards + objects in tradguilds who experirated + rewards from dungeons etc
You'd still have the same number of mails, though, just scattered under different categories. It might make prioritizing which mails you open first a bit easier, but it wouldn't solve the overall issue you have with having a lot of mail.well I cleaned up the mailbox finally.

That wouldn't exactly work, though. If you let your rewards pile up then you have the problem of potentially not having bag space to claim everything. Boxes also can't stack because their contents are completely random. If each one gave you the same thing that would be different, but afaik every reward box can have different items in it, regardless of the source of said box.Maybe they can change the reward system all together, and allow players have to claim their Rewards of the Worthy boxes from a window and all at once, directly to the player inventory. Also making the boxes stacking. So in the end no more mail based delivery.
Even if it was a system where you get some kind of token to turn in like with Undaunted Keys to get your reward box, you'd still more than likely have to buy them individually. Even if it worked more like furnishing BP boxes you can get the from Rolls/Faustina (you can buy them in bulk rather than one at a time), you're still going to have to open them one at a time, and if you let your tokens pile up you then have a bunch of boxes you still need to open.
On top of that, with tokens you'd have to specifically go somewhere to turn them in, which would theoretically make it more of a hassle than mail, which you can open from anywhere (such as inside a bank, for example, where you can do any necessary inventory management easier, if you don't have a banker and/or merchant assistant).
The system of pvp rewards by mail is really fast saturated, is there something we could do or imagine to prevent it ?
Whoops, it actually only takes 20k AP to get a RotW mail, which means to get 1k of them it should be 20m AP rather than 25m. That's still a huge amount to earn in just a handful of days though.

That way it's just a few minutes instead of an ordeal. I think you're having the same problem with your mail, and you probably need to realize that you need to clean it more regularly so it isn't the hassle it is now.
