Hmm. That's interesting - the gold mats I mean. Don't do emotes, but hey - it's better than the silly netch hat for sure. I'm always happy, free stuff is good.

O__o Singular gold mats, huh. I feel like a set of at least 8 would make more sense so people with crafters could gold out a single piece of appropriate gear, but I guess the single ones are still something.
    Character List [RP and PvE]:
Stands-Against-Death: Argonian Magplar Healer - Crafter
Krisiel: Redguard Stamsorc DPS - Literally crazy Werewolf, no like legit insane. She nuts
Kiju Veran: Khajiit Stamblade DPS - Ex-Fighters Guild Suthay who likes to punch things, nicknamed Tinykat
Niralae Elsinal: Altmer Stamsorc DPS - Young Altmer with way too much Magicka
Sarah Lacroix: Breton Magsorc DPS - Fledgling Vampire who drinks too much water
Slondor: Nord Tankblade - TESified verson of Slenderman
Marius Vastino: Imperial <insert role here> - Sarah's apathetic sire who likes to monologue
Delthor Rellenar: Dunmer Magknight DPS - Sarah's ex who's a certified psychopath
Lirawyn Calatare: Altmer Magplar Healer - Traveling performer and bard who's 101% vanilla bean
Gondryn Beldeau: Breton Tankplar - Sarah's Mages Guild mentor and certified badass old person
Gwendolyn Jenelle: Breton Magplar Healer - Friendly healer with a coffee addiction
Soliril Larethian- Altmer Magblade DPS - Blind alchemist who uses animals to see and brews plagues in his spare time
Tevril Rallenar: Dunmer Stamcro DPS - Delthor's "special" younger brother who raises small animals as friends

Eh, I don't need the gold jewelry mats - I think over both accounts both PC megaservers I have a total of 300+. Because the only time I use them is if I get a 600+ writ.... I don't bother with golding out jewelry otherwise.

I recently switched servers. I'm genuinely excited to be getting this food and these tri stat pots.

It's tough starting out, queueing up a dungeon and thinking "I should probably use food but I only have 3 left".

Tough in a good way. 👊

Or perfect roe would be welcome. Truthfully though, I’ll take any gold mat. Sell them if nothing else.

On PC NA they go for 10-20k each or thereabout — pretty good compared to most rewards not on the 21st where the max gold reward is 100k. Valuable whether you use to craft, upgrade or sell so a very nice reward IMHO.

Edit: Rosin is only around 4k each right now. But point is, still useful and not something to complain about IMHO.

At around 50k, 300k, and 400k+ each (PC NA), you really think that’s reasonable?

Of course they will be sellable. Otherwise you would have two completely different stacks of identical materials.

As far as I am aware, something like this already happens with crown consumables (crown store potion, poisons, soul gems etc).

Idk what is causing this, but I have stacks of same items... that won't stack.. and those are like 20 items, so definitely less than one stack. Those items must have different ID in the database. I assume some of them came from login rewards and some from leveling up rewards and some from some random events from the past. It is a mess lol.

I think crafting materials are a good choice because if you can't use them you can sell them, so it's something every player can find a use for, unlike some of the other items.

    Ps eu.

    Temp alloy 4.5k
    Roisin 4.5k
    Dreugh wax 8/9k

    Perfect roe 30k
    Chromium plating 100k
    Aethetial dust 80-120k

Assuming prices differ over the different servers as standard as always.

So difficult thing. Free stuff is free stuff.

We have been spoilt with free stuff over the years and occasionally still get something deemed awesome my most but in general why give stuff for free if people will pay real money instead.

Anything available ingame given free is a bonus.

Not sure if its purely self entitlement by people or a high expectation given by previous free rewards, a combination of both or what.

    People always moan whatever too.

Personally i do not use the crown food but can appreciate its place for some.

My only improvement would be a decline per reward option rather then having to accept it then delete if i wish.

Purely a laziness qol improvement for myself though lol

Absolute kudos to ZoS for FINALLY using other assets from within the game for the Daily Reward table. This is a really welcome change from my perspective and I hope the use of broader in-game assets spills over into other areas, such as loot boxes during events, furnishing plans, and the Luxury Furnishing Vendor.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_Kevin - credit where credit is due - awesome !!

Daily Log-in Rewards are typically account-bound.

And we already have the "completely different stacks of identical materials" with regard to character-bound vs. account-bound items, of which there are several.

Purple drinks and roast chicken are always welcomed. Good way to save alchemy mats.

Nice also to see crafting mats being offered - please though make them more than just one.

PS this one was originally meh on the daily but after some chats with the Crafting Cats in this one’s team, gold mats are better than poisons.

I'm not sure what will happen with these. I can only think of one thing that goes on the craft bag that's bound, and that's mimic stones. I'm a bit curious now.

Items, yes, not materials. In any case, if you hover over these they don't say bound, unlike all the other items that say bound. I very much doubt they'll be bound. Five days until we can be 100% certain.

Crafting mats are so much better than gold currency. They need to put commodities like this into the rewards more often and get rid of the excess gold that does nothing but devalue currency. They could honestly give several gold mats with each drop (4 or even 8) and it wouldn't be a problem. I applaud this move. Step in the right direction.
