But necromancers can be fun
Ok. I know people want to marry people. Which is fine. But look at it from a Gameplay Perspective.
What is the Benefit? Will they send you deliveries like with the crafting deliveries? Will they give you some kind of passive benefit?
I don't care either way, but there needs to be some kind of Incentive to Marry NPCs for some people to interact with the feature aside from RP.

This is like saying "what's the benefit of having different motif's?" At the end of the day, they are just visuals that don't provide anything, but people pay millions for them.
RP is a good reason on it's own when we are playing an MMORPG..

Sure. And that's fine, RP to your hearts content. But if they added Romance as the big Feature of an Expansion, I don't think it would go over that great.
MMORPG are transactional experiences, you do Dungeons, Delves, and Trials for Gear and Motifs. You do certain achievements for Dyes and Costumes.
Cosmetics directly involve YOUR Character. And how people see your character. You want people to look at you in Awe.

I am married in RL. See, if you go out the door, all you have to do is open your eyes and you will notice actual humans everywhere that are already marriable. Play RL enough and you will never feel the need to let pixels take over this part.
Family life is true endgame anyways!
