Maintenance for the week of April 29:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 29

On my main account both PC NA and EU, CP changed upward by several points since this morning

After crafting on my 50s this morning on PC NA, my main had 9 green, 7 blue, and 9 red points; the other two on that account had 9 green, 7 blue, and 2 red points. When I logged back in just now, my main has 10 green, 10 blue, and 12 red; the other two have 10 green, 10 blue, and 5 red. EU has the same disparity since crafting there this morning: 1 extra point in green and; 3 extra in blue and red.

My second account on both PC megaservers is not affected.

I'm not allocating the points - I'm afraid it's something beyond my control, and I certainly don't want to wind up in trouble! Anyone else ever have this sort of thing happen?

What’s your cp level? How many characters did you do crafting quests on?

CP 840 on NA, CP 502 on EU. On NA I craft on three 50s, on EU I have only one 50 so far.

When you add up all your points does it equal your cp or is it more than your total cp?

It comes out right - each color at 280 = 840 total. *shakes head* I guess it's okay - but damn I hate gremlins....

Sometimes if you allocated and forgot to confirm can happen, especially with addons that manipulate CP.It could also be lag and it didn't show up yet,I know it happens when doing a few master writs, and could happen with daily crafting,if you changing chars fast after turnins.

It could have been lag - though it didn't seem any worse than normal (satellite's my only available connection) - and I didn't fill any master writs on either NA or EU mains today.

Update 2/22/22: This morning it's back to where it was after crafting yesterday. I repeat - I hate gremlins! I decided to wait until today to allocate points - good thing too!

And then, the extras were back again the next time I logged into that account. And you're right - I'd forgotten all about the Armory issue! That's what I get for not stopping to think.... Thanks!

Except you said all of the points added up to the correct CP total, right? Thus, none of them were "extra," just undistributed.

Yeah. Because I'm a space cadet and totally failed to remember that using the Armory comes with special "challenges" when you don't do it much!

Not to mention it was early, and I hadn't had much coffee! I didn't post right as it happened because I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to sort out how things could go that far south....

I still haven't used the Armory station at all, on any of my characters, so this thread is helping me learn about the things I'll need to be aware of once I start using it-- and I'm sure I'll still be confused about it when it happens to me! :)

Well.... to be perfectly honest and fair: I was just messing with it for the second time myself - so serves me right that things got complicated!

Not to mention that I'd had 25+ family here all day Sunday. Believe me, THAT is enough to fry any brain cells I still had left - since 18 of the 25 are under the age of 12... and of those 18, 9 are under 3 years.

Yes. It's going to take me the rest of the week to finish recovery.
