and it would be amazing if something similar were in ESO, maybe even connected to mobile TES cards game...

    People crying over Elder Scrolls Legends is probably why a CCG was stuffed into ESO. :unamused:

    the cold shivers of horror running down my spine when i hear an actual player of an MMORPG suggesting a TCG implemented in that MMORPG linked to a mobile TCG game...

    I played test and it was fine and quite interesting, but if it is going to be a "game within the game", imho it would have to be simplified a bit. 1 to 1 adaptation of tesl into eso would imho be to big, cumbersome and would not work as good. I am especially worried about monetisation part. Tesl is free, with optional payments, but even without payments you have a tiny chance to obtain good cards for you deck (rng card packs can be purchased for in-game gold, no premium currently required).

    I would like to see no monetisation for this new card game. It is not free to begin with (it comes with a chapter), so I do hope we won't see bis cards or rng card packs in the crown store.

    I dont think it will happen... it has not happened with antiquitites and with companions (and the latter would have been quite easy: "Here's Wilson, your new awesome buddy with 12000 lines of dialogue, available in the crown store for just 4k crowns - Mirri and Bastian are noobs in comparison")... maybe you could be able to buy cosmetics (like a shiny background for your deck or something similar), but i dont think zos will try to monetise the new activity itself.

    Honestly I'm pretty curious to see what it will be... it has nice potential according to what it has been said in the reveal.
