Inflation a problem?

This might sound silly, but do you think inflation is a problem in eso?
I mean gold is effectively being printed all the time from mobs and chests. I’ve definitely seen market prices increase over the years for the same kind of gear.

That being said, yes gold inflation is an insane problem. Give it some years and having 1mill will be the same has having 100k

But how could could 1M become equivalent to 1M in this game? As far as I can see, there are some significant differences between inflation in-game and in the real world, where money can be printed but physical goods cannot (not until we have replicators, but I digress…)

1) The price of houses that can be bought for gold as well as goods and services remains the same.
2) The sources of this new gold remain the same — writs, theft, etc. is not now more profitable than it used to be.
3) Items that players can sell and buy from other players are likewise continually added to the game.

And quests, and vendoring loot, and...
Of course, this is true of nearly every MMO and RPG. It's how they manage it that makes the difference.
