There is already a mechanism to automatically accept the ready check, I bet many don't check it for a reason, some of those reasons expressed here. So, if you don't like having to accept the ready check yourself than auto accept. Personal preference is a wonderful thing. BTW, I tried it and then turned it off. Nothing worse than needing a few seconds to loot a dead world boss and getting yoinked to a dungeon.

If you marked it when joining the queue you will just automatically accept and get sucked into the activity when the whole group is ready.

And then your group will be annoyed when you aren't actually ready. Automating the ready check defeats the purpose of the check. It's there to make sure you're actually ready to do the dungeon and not AFK.
It would be a problem because life is unpredictable. You might think you're going to be ready the moment the queue pops, but anything could come up in the time between you entering the queue and getting put into a group. You could very well end up needing to leave the computer and the queue dinging while you're away.orgin_stadia wrote: »the1andonlyskwex wrote: »orgin_stadia wrote: »They could just add a checkbox on the join queue page "[ ] Automatically accept invite".

I don't think that would be as much of a problem with that solution as you do. If it was a global setting then yes, but doing it every time, then no.

I disagree. But never the less, they could easily just put it on a 30 sec timer. As soon as any input is received by the game (keyboard/controller/mouse(with a threshold)) and you're in. If not the 30 secs times out.
You can disagree all you like, but that doesn't change the fact that things can come up without warning and pull people away from the computer, even if at any given moment they're free.orgin_stadia wrote: »It would be a problem because life is unpredictable.
