Completing every single quest

How long will it take to complete every single quest in all the zones and dungeons? I’m not counting the repeating quests of course since they are infinite. Also, has anyone completed all quests yet?

Loads will have completed all the quests.

I've finished every zone in the game, have all the quest achievements in all zones, and have done all the quests themselves.

I believe there are one or two that I can't do because I did a different quest that then stopped the other one spawning, and it's possible there may be one or two side quests in really out of the way places but as far as I'm concerned I've done the lot

This thread has a good discussion, as well as time expectation, regarding quests. However, it is from 2020, so expect an increase in those numbers.

This page has some interesting data as well.

But honestly, it all depends on how you approach it. It might take you months, or years.

Yes, plenty of people have completed every quest. I'm sure there are some who've completed them all on all 18 characters they have. I've done it on my main personally.
Tenacious Dreamer - Hurricane Herald - Godslayer - Dawnbringer - Gryphon Heart - Tick Tock Tormenter - Immortal Redeemer - Dro-m'Athra Destroyer
The Unchained - Oathsworn - Bedlam's Disciple - Temporal Tempest - Curator's Champion - Fist of Tava - Invader's Bane - Land, Air, and Sea Supremacy - Zero Regrets - Battlespire's Best - Bastion Breaker - Ardent Bibliophile - Subterranean Smasher - Bane of Thorns - True Genius - In Defiance of Death - No Rest for the Wicked - Nature's Wrath - Undying Endurance - Relentless Raider - Depths Defier - Apex Predator - Pure Lunacy - Mountain God - Leave No Bone Unbroken - CoS/RoM/BF/FH Challenger

Think I have done all the quests in ESO, can not remember any quests who is stop you from doing others.
Except its some quests who are simply pointer quests to point you to the next story quest in the zone quest chain, these will go away then you do the quest they point to.

One example is an quest having you go from Khenarthi's Roost to Vulkhel Guard by boat can only be done if you have not done the Vulkhel Guard zone quest.

As for how long it takes, I say it depends a lot on how long you spend traveling and fighting.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Up until I quit playing a few years ago, I was tracking the 'harder to get quests' or the ones you can bork yourself on but doing quests out of order or...out of their order (some don't make sense). As noted, most are pointer quests, but depending on your level of OCD, they matter too! There are also some mutually exclusive quests. It took me 4 characters to finally get it 'right' and get every still available quest in the base game (I think) with lots of help from Endoc and UESP.
They seem to have stopped with these easy to miss quests but I can't speak on the last few years.

I've done almost every quest in every zone on all 3 of my characters, Craglorn included. I'm still missing some of the dailies and some of the dungeon quests, but am starting to work on those now. And I am still working on the Gold Coast and Hew's Bane quests because I have to keep leveling those skill lines to get them all.

It's important to note that the map may show completed but there are still a lot of quests out there that aren't included in that. That's why I have addon Journal Quest Log that shows me all the quests and if they are completed or not.

Ive completed every single quest in the game on my main, it required a little less than an year, but was not a full time commitment... i did dungeons, trials, leveled crafting, done dailies, participated in all the events, and a lot of things parallel to questing, so i suppose it can be quite quick if you only concentrate on it.

When you reach the level at which overland content requires no effort at all you can do it in a flash

I did all the Alliance ones in the early years as part of leveling then first few DLCs

Alot of time year but not huge. I was casual and did most like 6-9 months

    Now would take way longer

I'm still working on Deadlands but I've done everything prior.

It was probably easier to do before One Tamriel.

I have done every non-repeatable quest in every zone (including full Cadwells Silver and Gold), on my first (main) character, a Breton templar tank. Plus also tanked every dungeon, trial, and arena - on normal at least (and all the vanilla-game dungeons on veteran, but only a few DLCs on veteran, and no vet trials or arenas.) Only daily quests are left, and veteran trials / arenas / DLC dungeons. Have only done Vateshran once because the final fight is an absolute [snip] as a tank. He is useless at PVP (like all the rest of my characters) but has done all the PVE content in both Cyrodiil and Imp City, and reached level 16 in alliance war just by tagging along with a lot of fortress captures (and can also solo capture a resource if no enemy players intervene).

On my second character (orcish mag necromancer DD) I'm about 80% of the way through Cadwells Gold (Pact, for a Covenant character), and have also completed the quests of Orsinium, Thieves, Dark Brotherhood, Morrowind, Clockwork, Summerset and Elsweyr, and Imp City PVE. Also picked up both companions from Blackwood, but nothing else there. Has done all original-game dungeons and a significant number of DLC dungeons on normal, plus Maelstrom and Dragonstar also on normal, and one Trial (normal Sunspire). Nothing veteran.

Third one (nord stamina warden) has just completed her own faction (Pact) and Coldharbour, to start on Cadwells Silver (Covenant), and picked up both companions from Blackwood - plus also done *most* original dungeons and a few DLCs on normal.

Half a dozen other characters have only completed Soul Shriven in Coldharbour (getting sacrificed to Molag Bal and escaping), and picked up the two Blackwood companions, but done nothing else except a few dolmens, holiday event quests, daily crafting writs and vanilla-game RNDs to level up (and have stopped doing RNDs since unlocking the DLCs which they are not up to.) It should be relatively easy to to complete the Harborage line as far as unlocking Stirk on any/all of these, just for the extra skill points, but I refuse to do Coldharbour until I've completed my own faction on any given character.

All characters are now level 50.

At some point I intend to get every mutually-exclusive ending with different characters - however, all of the three characters that have reached Coldharbour so far have sacrificed Varen Aquilarios. I really can't bring myself to sac either of the other two, knowing that they still have stuff to do in future Chapters whereas Varen does not (I assume this is one choice where sacrificing Varen is Official Canon even though you get the opportunity to pick someone else).

Picking different weapons from the Fighters Guild quest line rewards, however, is perfectly reasonable... as is deciding which of two possibilities has to die at the end of the Murkmire quest line (which I've only done on my main so far). However, that dungeon in the Alikr Desert with the spiders... I really do not know why I'm not allowed to fight the Daedra and save *both* members of the couple, rather than having to leave the Redguard prisoner with or without his Orcish lady friend (you can only save him by not finishing the quest, leaving the orcish woman as the spider daedra's prisoner).

It's not just completing every quest, its also doing it with quests that have polar opposite options. Some quests are simple two option systems, but other chains can go three or more separate paths.

Technically, you can't complete every single quest because a handful of them act as jumpstarts to zones' questlines stages, once you complete the stage the associated NPCs disappear. Other than that it takes a lot of time especially those from the base game since they're quite boring (so much that I've finished them all with my 6-7 yo main only recently). I usually can finish a new DLC within a week, but that's included hunting some achievements, lorebooks and skyshards I don't need so you might need less time if you play longer or don't pursue such things.

I think it took me about a month to do all the quests in base game zones plus Cyrodiil pve quests and Coldharbour, about the same again to clear the dlc zones. That's including completing all lorebooks, dolmens, delves, skyshards, world bosses etc. - basically everything in the zone completion list except fishing. After that, completing Master Angler took me 10 days and clearing all the dlc fishing zones a fair bit longer because I wasn't working on them very hard.

It's kind of hard to be sure you've cleared *every* quest though, once in a blue moon I'll find one I missed - the last was the old guy opposite Wormroot Depths who asks you to fetch something or other.

Been playing since day 1 on console and recently just collected all the base game skyshards on 1 of my characters, so no i havent done all the quests.

If my characters were account wide. Id gladly do all the quests, but too lazy knowing all that work is for 1 character and it does nothing for my others.

I'm pretty certain I've done every quest In the PVE zones on my main, everytime I think I see one I missed it's the quest giver icon "For Glory" which pisses me off to no end

one day(if I'm still playing) I may get around to doing the PVP quests, have done a few already

Honestly it depends, if you speed run it not reading anything and just running from waypoint to waypoint : I am sure you can do everything in under 1K hours.

If you turn off maps and Maps pins, Compass and Quest markers around 234 324 344K hours

I thought I had done all the quests but I ran into Lady Clarisse Laurent and Stibbons the other day in some random camp on the coast of Vvardenfell and did the web of troubles questline. I gave up doing the Imperial city questline as well though because I kept on getting ganked.

I conceded defeat last year and went and did one battleground. That was enough for me. That annoying black triangle will chase me no longer
