What new feature do you think we will see in the High Isle Chapter?

I set the expectations bar low each time because then whatever comes out seems awesome by comparison

    Here’s my guess for now

Weresharknado events all over the new zone!
You can play a Breton banjo now! It’s lore all of a sudden!
    Peg leg racing
Lots of West Country dialogue, Yarrr!

    1. Guild/faction Naval Warfare PvP map
    2. No new class, but elite specializations similar to GW2.
    3. New skill line Water Magic
    4. New race
    5. New magic weapon line

Any of that stuff would be great.

I doubt we'll get a companion that won't mind us murdering people with the blade of woe. But we may get someone with Mirri"s morals and a different skill set. We'll probably get a Redguard or Breton pirate type. Hopefully we'll get a second, more magic using friendly companion. (that could be any race)

I want a new class that isn’t a Battlemage. Something really different with a unique play style. They tinkered with play mechanics with Necro and I’d like to see them continue down this route. Maybe a Warlock or Witch class that has Conjuration and Alteration in their Tank line and some Spinner based stuff for healing. Could maybe even throw in some Oblivion spells as long as they are balanced well.

I want a "Furnishings Bag" with my ESO Plus Membership sooooooo freaking baaaaaadddd!!!! <3

Anyways - Honestly... I think we will get another 2 companions, the same release formula for story/zone content, and some gear sets... I honestly don't have my hopes up that high =/

My personal 2022 wishlist is this tho:

-(again) a ESO Furnishings Bag --- because we need it! it's a little ridiculous storing 600 items across a few houses you don't even use.

    -A new solo arena <3

-More costume/mount achievement rewards - Crown Store cosmetics cool and all... but it's not exactly flexing your ESO muscles at other players showing off your hard work... it's more just flexing that you can afford overpriced crown items. (no offense ZoS!!! - love eso but common... it's a little overpriced lol --- like... the Astral Sheen skin looks like it took 2 mins to make in photoshop... ... ... ... as someone who has skinned and modeled for video games, I know that I could have made this in 2 mins lol)

-New Battlegrounds pvp maps would be super cool!

    -unranked and ranked battlegrounds maybe?

-ability to toggle what you want to queue for just like dungeon finder but for BGs

    -visible mmr

-Achievements/Rewards for each BG gametype to make sure all game modes are somewhat populated

-A "PvP battlepass!" - this would make me so happy... I feel like it would help repopulate pvp and I could make a lot of new friends from all the new faces!

-For Imperial City Sewer bosses/patrols to drop more Tel Var.... Sewers are super unpopulated and maybe this would attract players to venture below! Currently the Patrols are harder than the upper zone bosses but drop less Tel Var. The Sewer bosses are also too easy... would love a difficulty increase to go along with the added Tel Var!

-A Free for All (non-faction) PVP pit... I've played many pvp games and one of the coolest things that happens in communities is that players bond over the love for the game and naturally a unspoken/spoken pvp player etiquette forms... The pvp pit would probably become a hang out spot for people to socialize, duel, and/or have a giant brawl occasionally! (basically I love the arena pit in GW2 pvp lobby and would love to have that in ESO as this is my favorite game :) )

-And I'm sure this comes as no surprise... I'm still wishing for some server performance during primetime pvp! <3

I love all of the game... but I always end up gravitating to where I feel the most challenged in a video game... and for ESO that is pvp :p I'm not great at it but I absolutely love playing this gametype and it would make my 2022 so much sweeter if there was some pvp love this year! <3<3<3

Actually getting people to play PvP really requires
    - Looking at ways to make it more accessible to newer players than the "dead, dead, dead, dead" experience. noCP helps a bit but it's still got too steep a learning curve
    - Fixing the lag
    - Fixing battlegrounds not to be 99.9999% deathmatch so people go back into it and learn PvP related skills
    - Fixing the lag
    - Rebalancing some of the overkill sets
    - Fixing the lag
    - Dealing with the exploit level bugs (pulling people off castle walls, ways into keeps without going through doors/walls etc)
    - Did I mention fixing the lag ?

As to IC. I suspect IC is just a dead loss. It doesn't have the big lag problems (not so much anyway), it's a free part of the game and for all the n million users ESO supposedly has it's usually empty - even when it is working properly.

many comments talk about a small town, but if you upscale and sharpen the teaser image, it looks more like a full city like Daggerfall.
There is a castle, a church (a large one with 2 towers), a city gate with 2 fat towers, and houses have 2 and 3 floors, some with a 4th roof floor.

I guess we can expect climbing many stairs...

Yup, which pleases me. Even northern Europe often use red roof tiles. The style looks very central Europe to me, which fits Bretons, and the walls look to vary a bit with different bricks and stones which is good.

Don't get how people can call it mediterranean or a small city for that matter. Anything mediterranean looking would be if anything Imperial, and if the city is anything close to that size in game it would be the biggest city in game so far.

Oh, and thanks to @markulrich1966 for the focused screenshot of the city.

An amoral, spell casting Alfig companion would be pretty cool. They might even have their own blade of woe skill after they gain a companion level or 2.

Yet it does mounting just fine with the things it doesn't do well is moving in 3D space, which we know the engine can't handle. Sailing =/= diving and flying and could be done in ESO. If they go the Pirates of the Caribbean route where it fades to black and then loads in a zone where you sail the ship I don't mind it at all.
