How to reinstall patches from scratch? Eso on Steamplay (proton)

Hello guys!
i installed a brand new version of eso from steam and during the patching i accidentally closed the client window.
When i reopen the client the patches seems to be installed but when i press play nothing happens

i'm using ubuntu 20.04 and steam with proton

any suggestion? i tried to reinstall a fresh copy but the problem persists, the patches are not downloading

You need to be using the very latest proton in order to run ESO under Proton. Probably better to ask about this on the steam proton forum/github than here for more info as it's not something Zenimax support. It should work fine if you go into your settings and tell it to use Proton 6.3-8 or Experimental.

You may also need launch options of "PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command%" if it complains about lack of disk space.
