How to reinstall patches from scratch? Eso on Steamplay (proton)

Hello guys!
i installed a brand new version of eso from steam and during the patching i accidentally closed the client window.
When i reopen the client the patches seems to be installed but when i press play nothing happens
i'm using ubuntu 20.04 and steam with proton
any suggestion? i tried to reinstall a fresh copy but the problem persists, the patches are not downloading

✭You need to be using the very latest proton in order to run ESO under Proton. Probably better to ask about this on the steam proton forum/github than here for more info as it's not something Zenimax support. It should work fine if you go into your settings and tell it to use Proton 6.3-8 or Experimental.
You may also need launch options of "PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command%" if it complains about lack of disk space.
