please make Bosses animation cancel

right now players are able to animation cancel to the point that multiple actions take place instantly.
it is unfair that NPC's and Bosses are not able to do that same event on us players.
in pve we see players killing mobbs in under 1 second with multiple actions because of animation canceling, and the same is happen in pvp, so why cant this happen also with Mobbs and Bosses attacks on us players as well?

please allow Bosses and Mobbs to animation cancel us the same way players are able to.

    What if we start by having the bosses able to do critical damage? I don't think that ZOS has ever turned that on.

    If you're consistently dropping in one gcd it's probably not animation cancel to blame.

    Boss attacks are on a timer. That is typical MMORPG design. So animation canceling for a boss would be pointless.

    Animation cancelling doesn't work like that.
    Players can not use more than 1 ability per second anyway, with or without animation cancelling. It is due to the global cooldown (GCD) that lasts ~1 second and prevents the usage of another class/weapon/guild ability until the cooldown is over.
    All players can do within 1 second after any ability is: light attack, dodge, block, bar swap.
    One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.

    Well, since you can't avoid the global cooldown, would you like to be specific about what multiple actions players are doing to kill mobs in 1 second?

    I mean, my stam warden can burst mobs in a second when I cast shalks, cliffracers, charge them with my two-hander, and then my proc set goes off...but that's like 3 GCDs, and 2 skills ZOS built for delayed damage. It has nothing to do with animation canceling.

    So it's on you to be more specific.

    Not sure the point of this. Do you want mobs/bosses to do more damage? Why do they need to animation cancel for that? Just increase their attack speed/rate or have them hit harder. Maybe you want people to have the experience of having multiple skills go off on them at the same time, as in laggy pvp? Lol

    This, now I wonder if companions roll dodge is not on their global cooldown?
    All enemies are pretty scripted, yes they will face and chase you but they do not react to you like using an execute if you have low health. Now many bosses change behavior or trigger stuff based on their health left.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    all jokes aside, it would be nice if NPC enemies felt more dynamic;
    rather than doing an LA, contemplating life for two seconds, maybe doing a skill, another contemplative pause, running awkwardly, charging a skill, contemplating, another LA...
    you get the jist. they're out of touch with the rest of the game's speed level.

    They just need to hire some pvp players to operate all dungeon and trial enemies. Ofc queues would take longer because you'd need to get your team and all the enemies but all in all I think that would be really healthy for this game.

    Imagine the tears when you can't save yourself via dodge or block because the animation of a light attack has to play out.

    I can imagine it already.... Well it'd attract the Dark Souls crowd, but people like me would be incredibly annoyed by the lack of responsiveness in the system caused by such a thing.

    Another "I can't weave, plz remove it" thread in a very strange disguise.

    Funnily enough though, I agree. Make all NPC enemies animation cancel. Enemies reacting by dodging or blocking my incoming attacks even if mid casting their own attacks? Yes please! Maybe finally overland won't be a snoozefest.

    Maybe I’m a little cynical, but this feels like a “I got killed by a super animation cancellor who hit me with 5 skills at one time, and I want everything in the game to be able to do that to everyone else” thread. Lol. Don’t feel bad man, it’s happened to everyone at some point.

    Some boss enemies can already hit for 30k+ damage (while blocking) in single hit. I think they're doing ok with the outgoing damage department.

    It seems this is an "I got killed in PvP by something I don't understand so I will say it was animation canceling" thread.

    There are already a lot of poorly telegraphed mechanics in PvE that might as well be animation cancelling... otherwise we wouldn't have add-ons that told us when they are happening.

    If enemies were able to parse on players, most players would die in seconds, even to single trash mobs, and often to attacks they never saw. Considering how badly the game chokes on having relatively small numbers of active mobs in any area casting their limited skills, it would have severe issues with all enemies casting two skills every second. If this suggested change was implemented, the damage of all mobs and bosses would need to be changed dramatically, and players would be complaining about being out of resources constantly.
