Matches of one on one, two on two, four on four! A place where you can gather and pit your companions against each other solo or in parties without the aid of their players. Currently you can only do one on one and it takes some coordination via dueling where you send them at each other, but that can get complicated, this way the game automatically makes them hostile to each other and continues until one side has fallen. You cannot help them with your heals and buffs, its all them and them alone!

An interesting and fun idea!

That said, I wouldn't partake. My companion is built to complement my character and not made to fight without my support so it would end up being a totally different companion build for this activity and can't be bothered.

Hmmmmmmm sounds kinda like Pokemon. I guess if this was implemented it's wouldn't take long before people started asking for us to be able to capture the roaming monsters in the game and have them to be able to also be used in these fights.

Not saying I am for or against, just observing.

The balancing would be very difficult to manage. Right now, if you spec as a tank for your companion, I don't think 10 dps companions could kill it, let alone one of them. Even dps vs dps could very easily be a stalemate if they have even one or two heals on their bars. They just aren't set up for fighting each other in any interesting way. There is potential there, but would it be worth the effort to rebalance companions just for this feature?

If it were Mirri vs Mirri they would both light attack each other then back roll three times and reset.

Are you kidding? I'd love a REAL pet class that actually involves taming some of the animals in-game. I don't care if it's just as non-combat pets, this would be awesome! Having them for combat would be even sweeter, but just being able to tame and add to your pet collection would be great!
