    +:
    - The zone appears to be larger than other q4 zones
    - The zone are aesthetically pleasing. Especially the blue side.
    - Why is q4 dlc`s storytelling much better than chapters for the third year already? Deadland is no exception. Story and characters for 8 points.
    - Changes in RNG and armory systems.

    -:
    - Tired of the similarity of content formulas.
    - There is no content for high-end players.
    - Despite the fact that the area is large and beautiful, it feels very monotonous.
    - For some reason, the ending of the story did not impress ... Although the story was interesting for me.

Loved it. I liked the story, the NPCs and the Battlespire callback. And Arox. Even though I missed a cameo by Image Storm, Grand-Vizier-to-be.

Now that I'm through I started to explore the vicinity... and I already miss Rymkyus. Couldn't stand that guy initially, but I came to adore him. I'm sooo infatuated...

Don't care for the whole Deadlands thing. Didn't like Blackwood with the Oblivion portals so it's all a part of that. Not happy with the way the game is progressing since the last 2 chapters and dlcs.

Not subbing again or buying anymore chapters, I'll just play free and then I won't be unhappy with having paid for content I don't enjoy.

Fargrave is really cool place in ESO for me, the size of DLC is about the same as Clockwork city, but the setting is so much more interesting for me, it also gives so much more new opportunities for ESO to go to. Daedra groups as Planetscape travellers? That is even better than just good looking city. Maybe we could get daedra race one day aswell? I almost wish there would be a singleplayer game which could be much more detailed based on that.

    5 - It was Mediocre
My thoughts on the Deadlands DLC:
    • I liked the style and layout of Fargrave. I would have liked there to be more interesting things to see/find/discover though. I quite like the bazaar idea. However, I think that having the crafting area placed after the bazaar area is likely to mean that Fargrave, once players have moved on, will not be a well-used hub. Vivec City, Rimmen and Leyawin (for me) will still have more convenient layouts
    • I thought that the DLC was "small" in terms of quests/things to do
    • I thought that the Deadlands was large but mostly empty and there are missed opportunities for unique and even challenging locations/quests/mobs
    • The formulaic x2 delves and x2 world bosses with the associated quests is becoming boring. The same with the associated achievements
    • The wandering Executioner bosses, which don't wander, are rather meh and don't drop anything unique (I think?)
    • More portals which lead ultimately to the Duke of Storms have exactly the same layout as in Blackwood. Except that we need to do them again to get the achievement for Deadlands and to get drops such as Deadlands recipes. The boss is, as before, a walkover
    • The main quest line was uninspiring. Parts of it were predictable. I liked a couple of the new main characters but the Anchorite story was one-dimensional. I found some of the side-quests more interesting and layered. On the whole I am finding that the writing in ESO is not improving.
    • Some of the dialogue drove me nuts. Do the writers really have to repeat things again and again as though my character is some dimwit or has never met the character before or hasn't had the same conversation - like - two lines previously.
    • The new sets and mythics available with this DLC are nothing special.

From 1 to 10 what do you give it?

its one of the WORST dlc cause 0 new interesting content like an arena raid or new system - just 5new quests and a tiny zone

content done in less than 2days

The zone itself (including Fargrave) way better than Blackwood's one. It is the first time moved out from Alinor since we got Summerset :)

Overall I thought it was pretty good, but in ESO perspective I'd ive it a 7,5 mainly because regular nature-y zones are much more my thing. Fargrave is brilliant and it gave me major Planescape Torment vibes, even while otherworldly stuff is usually not what I enjoy most in the setting.

As usual ESO dialogue writing and lore blows all MMO's out of the water imo, though some parts were wayyy too predictable, especially especially especially one of the parts near the end. Like always, I seriously love that even the most inconsequential small steps in quests will give you unique lines when you talk to the NPC's inbetween.

I didn't mind the repetition/exposition in dialogue too much, as I can imagine it's really helpful for when you have no time to play inbetween main quests. I'm the kind of person that always needs a recap when a new season for a series comes out, so while the repetition it's a bit much when playing through it in one go, I can kind of understand it really.

Lyranth is imo one of the most unlikeable quest companions in the game, the little mortal thing got old after one quest, and there's much better ways to portray that type of arrogance/callousness imo, especially when considering even her dialogue is well written.

Eveli was so-so, while she's okay as a side character, her super cheerful tea party vibe while travelling through Oblivion kinda takes away from the fact that the place is actually terrifying. Why does she treat it like a stroll through the park instead of the terrifying experience it should be? Gimme chars that are afraid of scary things, to set the atmosphere! So as a main char, a cheerful wood elf with pig tails is a definite no. Like Rigurt the Brash, chars like Eveli are best in small doses imo.

On the other hand everything about Madame Whim was glorious, and so was Arox.

The end battle looked amazing, very impressed (though tbh I always enhance my own experience by only using basic light/heavy attacks during those end battles to draw it out, kind of a shame but oh well).

Also the Fargrave pennants are one of the best new furniture additions.

You got the new armory system.

I'll admit it's a bit underwhelming in it's current form. But if it ever gets improved upon to where it allows players to truly switch builds on the go that would be a nice addition to the game.

A solid 9. Strictly compared to Blackwood, 10. If Eveli Sharp-Arrow had exploded in a shower of gore during the final confrontation with Dagon, it would've been an 11.
The locales are very well done, the interactions with the Dremora and other Daedra are varied and interesting, whoever wrote Blackwood was clearly fired or came to his/her senses, all of the quests managed to keep my interest alive, both main and side ones. This goes to show that bigger in size isn't always better (looking at you, enormous yet demoralizingly empty Blackwood). One of my favorite arcs so far - and I say "arcs" because it's technically in the same chapter as Blackwood, except Blackwood feels like a half-assed DLC, whereas the Deadlands feel more like a chapter proper.
Overall one of my favourite arcs thus far. I only wish it was longer and had been the chapter's core instead of that lifeless swamp which could've been a lousy filler DLC. But I'm not bashing, if the Deadlands are an indication of what the team is now aiming for, I have great hopes for 2022.

The thing with Lyranth, imo, is not that she is arrogant, obviously our vestige is WAY more powerful than she is, so we can be condescending, but we have no option to demonstrate our competence to her, make change her opinion about us and recognize as equal and even dangerous.

Content was overall just better: Blackwood + Deadlands was a huge improvement over Greymoor, which was the most boring out of the recent nostalgia milks that ZOS has been doing since Morrowind.

The new characters were decent. Madame Whim and AROX THE MUTILATOR were incredible. Please let me have AROX as a companion lol.

The Oblivion callbacks were not as obnoxiously done as the Skyrim and Morrowind ones.

Sound and music design were greatly improved from earlier content.

Fargrave feels more alive than most of the DLC cities we've been in. Definitely got Planescape vibes.

    Final battle was epic.

    - -
Anchorite's background was meh, I wanted more from a character running around in the Grey Fox's mask.

Deadlands itself feels too big and empty.

    Final plot twist was lame.

Blackwood plot fell a bit flat--the whole Ambitions thing wasn't really the big build up the game tried to make you believe it was.

It would have been nice to see Eveli have a feeling other than cheerful and/or sarcasm.

Couple of really terrific characters, some great voice work as always, nice locations (especially Fargrave, which is incredibly well drawn)......

.....But the story is a bit weak and the side quests are...... meh. I am a little tired of building up these "gods" and their schemes only to defeat them in the blink of an eye. The original main quest line is huge and requires the help of another god before you can take out Molag. Either these other gods are all total imbeciles or the writing needs to pick up a bit.

Overall a better effort than Blackwood (which was a shocker), but we're still a long way from Orsinium or Summerset in terms of quality content. Am hoping for more next year.

The story line is a big improvement from Greymoor. Arox the Mutilator, Rynkyus and Madame Whim are great characters.

However, this one gave it a seven because of several significant bugs: WB fight is bugged (for some reason, this one can’t fire class/weapons abilities), map marker not showing in the Deadlands, Fargrave is a very nice looking city but the crafting area is VERY inaccessible.

I didn’t mind the “Little Mortal” quip so much, because, well, my character is a wood elf, and therefore literally is a “little mortal!” Lol! But, I get that it’s supposed to be condescending and it would be a lot different if you were playing from the perspective of an orc for example,

Gets a 3 from me for Arox's VA's amazing performance and the writing for the character. Rest of the stuff was super meh and forgettable, if achievements and skillpoints weren't tied to the quests I would've regretted doing them.

    5 - It was Mediocre

The Art team excels as always, Fargrave was beautiful in its own weird way. :)

I thought the town of Fargrave was unique and different, although I have to say I was disappointed that most of the things about town are not lootable at all.

Quests are a mixed bag...sometimes unique and well-written (for the most part!); then sometimes redundant. I, also, don't like the dumbed-down choices in the conversations that make my character seem to have a forgetful brain!

The Sever and Burn is more of the same old Daedric stuff that I am mighty tired of. The climate threats were welcome, but do they have to be telegraphed so blatantly? Make them truly unexpected and a danger!

All in all, mediocre for me...

Ever-hopeful...maybe next year will be better!

10 - It was Flawless, best experience!
    It's 10.

Fargrave city is just amazing. I'm still exploring it talking to every NPC I can, looking into every corner. I love it.

The Daedra! I'm so grateful for them! It was my dream to see as much details as I could, faces, horns, eyes... - but there were few peaceful daedra to have a close look. Now I just walk the streets and marvel all of them.

    Creatures! I'm breathless... speechless... Amazing!

Deadlands... I love the new storm feature. A completely new side of Dagon's realm. And pretty accurate "fire" realm.

Lore. A really new experince. Daedra life in details! I even never dreamed this to happen - but here they are, daedra trading, having fun, listening to music, consuming... strange things... A deep dive into how Daedra spend their time.

They only thing I don't like about Deadlands is Havocrel achievement. A very boring experince. Few people - I'm always dead. Many people - Havocrel dies in seconds. I never had a chance to have a close look at any of three.

Got bored with this one after 30~45 minutes when it was up on PTS, tried to get into it more on live but one of the main quests bugged out and wouldn't let me past the wall of wind at the top of the summit where me and 3 other people danced and hopped around while we watched other people able to pass through with no problem.

After a few abandoned quests and repeating the climb 3 or 4x I just farmed the new rng system a little bit and went back to playing other games.

Story was great, and it was nice to see more of an effort to make more detailed and interesting surroundings like Fargrave even if it is confusing to navigate. I suspect they had to split Fargrave into two and add all those doors because of the amount of assets, but I felt like the Shambles was kind of redundant since it is barely used at all. The overall plot still has some obvious elements of the usual formula, and some plot reveals were easily deduced the moment you set foot in Fargrave. I'm glad Eveli wasn't around for most of it because I still find her grating to listen to.

It was good to see them attempt to make the environments more dynamic with enemies scurrying about more chaotically.

Arox was the star of the zone and easily one of the most entertaining characters since Abnur Tharn and Cadwell. I'd sacrifice Mirri and Bastion to Mephala if it meant Arox could join me, lol.

The only major thing lacking I think is a major feature. Companions just didn't scratch that itch for me. Like, what do I need to do to get a Daedric Crescent weapon skill line up in here, hmm? Would have been fitting for the Deadlands in my opinion.

I love Fargrave and the shambles and afcourse the deadlands outland areas.
    The npc characters are fantastic
The quests are fun and as usual there is clever humour added
The creatures are incredible and unique
    The landscape is phenomenal.
    The lore is very engaging.
I cant wait to keep exploring some more and maybe finding a few lil quests as i already finished the big questlines

Story was way, way more interesting than Blackwood.

I was sad when Eveli showed back up as I find her barely tolerable, but Arox more than made up for that. Arox is awesome. We need more Arox in ESO. I also started to twitch a little bit near the end every time Lyranth said "little mortal." I think the writers overdid it a bit with that line.

Fargrave is a master piece of zone design. Beautiful, haunting, and very cool. Gives me EQ Planes of Knowledge vibes with the bazaar and portal plaza, which I think is neat. Hopefully it gets expanded.

    Overall a solid DLC.

    5 - It was Mediocre
It was really mediocre. Not a real fan of Deadlands- spent more than enough time while playing Oblivion. Fargrave is colorful, but extremely small and empty. Amount of houses we can break into? Amount of containers we can loot? amount of NPC we can talk? Answer to all this- extremely low. Yes, scamps and ogrims out in the streets are cool, as long as you do not pay attention to the fact, that you cannot steal or talk, or interact in any other way with them. Simple chair can be more interesting and interactive, than all this purely decorative fluff. Quests are not the strong point here too. Gone are the times, where players choice was impactful in any way(like in Strros'Mkai or Bal Foyen). Also, another daedric prince plot, with another princess. I was also annoyed by difference of treatment of main characters. If Sombren does bad stuff, we hunt him to the bitter end. If Lyranth does the same stuff- she goes free and noone cares. Also, as custom dictates- many bugs were reported during first weeks of pts, and are still not fixed. some people report that 2 out of 3 new mythics are unobtainable. Some places in the Deadlands also have patches of very low textures beside normally textured places. My verdict - very mediocre. Now, can we have some main questline without another Daedric Prince, that tries to conquer the world, but has absolutely no plan on what to do with the place after succeeding, and without princess, that somehow had extremely useful and OP thingy(skill, magic), that can blast gods and daedric princes with ease?

Deadlands feels "empty" - not much to do or explore there. Except for dailies, I see no reason to go there.
The town is "OK"ish, but again I don't see me spending more time there (except for dailies).

Overall I'm not surprised, this DLC has been given away for free, asking money for it would be a ripoff.
At very slow pace (like killing and collecting everything on the way and checking the landscape), that was only a couple of hours to finish.
