Can't vote yet, won't be playing it until the crowds go away. I really love Fargrave to look at, wander through; don't care much for Deadlands - I'm not into Daedra, lava, and flames.

After I play the DLC, I'll return to vote.

Overall for me it was a pleasant experience. I felt like leaving the deadlands to go back to blackwood to go into a deadland themed solo delve to fetch something was kinda boring and silly. But apart from that it was great.

AROX THE MUTILATOR. He should be allowed to sit on your shoulder and talk about his deeds as you travel and fight enemies. Best character since tharn imo.

It was interesting, but felt like it was missing stuff. The Deadlands was far bigger than it should've been as it has lots of empty space. Story followed the tried and true formula leaving it not really leaving much of an impact on me. I pretty much guessed correctly what was going to happen before it happened and that's a bad thing imo. No expectations were subverted, and I learned nothing new in regards to lore. Only thing leaving it out of the mediocre level is Arox. Arox is awesome.

I thought the story was entertaining enough, and some of the characters were interesting. My biggest complaint is the environment didn't seem alive, like a prop, not interactive, not enough NPCs outside the story that were really alive. Also being able to finish the main quest and all the side quests I could find in two days seemed lacking in depth.

It's not perfect, but for what it does, it does well. I won't be spending months there, but it was a really fun playthrough. The environment looks fantastic. The story was great. My new favorite character is from there and if you played it, you know who I'm talking about.

When they eventually do a Deadlands event, I'll be happy to return and do some more activities there.

I give environment solid 10/10, really freshing look compared to the previous zones. But the contents kind of ease my excitement a little bit. But still good enough.

I love the quests and the characters. The final battle was awesome and massively fulfilling, likely the best ending since the original main quest.

It was far stronger than the Blackwood chapter earlier in the year. I loved the new areas, they were full of detail and extremely fun to explore. However, it felt a little short, I completed the zone in 3 days, playing for roughly 4 hours each day. I would've loved a few more quests at some of the locations around the zone to make it feel more complete.

The zone and story were good, although a bit predictable.

I also wish that they did more to connect it with Blackwood throughout the progression instead of how they did it.

That was the only flaw for me, that and Fargrave being a bit hard to navigate.

Otherwise, a very enjoyable play trough and fun zone to do.

I thought the DLC was really well done, but very short. The thing that bothered me most was not being able to port directly to quests. Having to use what felt like third party software to get to the deadlands felt very tedious to me. Also, it's very short content wise. Without rushing, a person can get through every quest with about 10 hours of play time. The visuals and the story was well done though.

...now, about those servers so PvP will work like it's supposed to. What's the status on making PvP work properly? Seeing all the attention PvE gets while PvP gets the backhand is wearing on many of us. It's getting to the point that releasing new PvE content is the same as insulting PvP players.

No new pvp content, no new group content.

The only good thing in my opinion about the new content in this dlc is the fact that I didn't have to go fishing to get the new mythic shoulder.

The zone was great but the story was above average, it almost like the Rivenspire quest-line except with dremora and not vampires.

    So far(grave) I love it!

    Scenery is awesome!

Love the Daedra, if I could winter in this place I would!

Only downside it is so mountainous, try to jump over stuff with a game pad, Mirri is always in the way in instead of jumping with the A button, you get an annoying chat with her...

Boring, lifeless, way too few quests. I liked the aesthetic of Fargrave, but was disappointed by how Deadlands looked - and don't even get me started with the final boss... Oh well.

What I disliked the most was the constant hand-holding. I am able to read the visual cues and literal written advice the game gives me, no need for an NPC to elaborate on it to the point of exhaustion.

Still gonna see what the next year-long adventure is going to be like... Just feels sad, man.

haven't finished it yet, but i would give it a solid 8.

Fargrave is such a nice hub. Huge, populated, I like it. and the two zones aren't intimidatingly huge. All the voice work is lovely.

honestly the only reason i didn't give it a 10 is because i just hate the deadlands. its nothing personal. i just don't enjoy the environment.

Agreed. But gave 3 overall because of 2 epic acting NPC's Arox and Dark Seducer Whim, their script, their way of voice acting it's like being in the old TESO before the 1 year long adventure stuff with low quality content dropped. And because of the way Fargrave looks (although it has reskinned assets really...).

I don't know what will be in next year, but I do not have high hopes if it will be yet another 1 year long adventure that can be done in few hours as it was with this dlc (without skipping dialogues etc. ...).

The ambiance is nice, the giant mobs are impressive, the enviro-aoe-effects are nice and the city is interesting.

Still a bit iffy quest wise...can't really grasp a main 'canon line' outside of the rest.

It wasn't mediocre, but it wasn't awesome neither. Story has cool moments but mostly it feels like another version of the same story we've already seen billions times. The zone and Fargrave are kinda cool but I still prefer being on Nirn.

And except the story and the zone there's nothing really new.

From 1 to 10 what do you give it?

    I'll give it an 8.

The story was good with some exceptionally well-written and acted characters (Arox in particular). And the zone looks good.

What problems I did have with the DLC are general issues with the game itself. So I won't hold that against the DLC.
