don't panic... this looks like the same error we had a few weeks back. Didn't take that long to fix then, so I am rather optimistic this one won't take too long either.

After having played this game for a few years, you get some expertise in interpreting ESO server crashes. They're frequent enough

like idk, the only problem i had today that i was showing as offline despite being online, before they shut server down without as much as a warning...

C'mon, thats unnecessary.

Only EU Server is affected, so no need to bring NA server down
Communication is there. It is on top of the forum. There is no need to write every few minutes "still working on it".
