Yep, I played them all too beginning with Arena's release. However, I AM old. I've also been playing CRPGs since I got my first computer in 1984....

I downloaded Daggerfall Unity not long back - of course, by this time I'd forgotten Daggerfall didn't have 3rd person, and 1st person messes with my vertigo issues. So no replaying it for me.... It ran fine on my nearly 8 year old machine, I just couldn't deal with the view!

Well they had Skyrim armor in those crates for Blackwood if I vaguely remember it. Ofcourse I was unable to gather enough of endavours for buying, so maybe it could be re added for crowns - but well it is too late now for that anyway - we got redguard theme today. But maybe it was the reason for dragonhunters theme on tuesday. And maybe it would be expensive too much and I wouldn't buy it anyway.

I just started replaying it recently (up to 75 hours so far), then I ran into this problem, and it's now unplayable. It's pretty demotivating . I'm not sure whether I want to spend hours trying to fix it, or just give up on replaying it.

With the recent trend of remastering old classics, a revamp of Arena, Daggerfall and/or Morrowind would be cool, but I'm also waiting for years of a remake of Ultima 7 which will probably never happen at all as EA has all the rights to it and they for sure have no interest in such things For Oblivion though there is this Skyblivion project where they mod Skyrim to basically mimic Oblivion

I'd kill for a Daggerfall remake with 3rd person instead of just 1st person.... There's Skywind too, similar to Skyblivion.

I thought if you had special edition, it was a free upgrade, nm, I still yet to get into this game, the controls and ugly graphics keep putting me off.
It's 19,99 if you own special edition, otherwise it's 49.99, and ps4 to ps5 trophys are not a thing, just like eso

The free update to SSE adds a few things, like fishing, but doesn't include all of the Creation Club content. So you can just do the free update and then buy whichever Creation Club content you're interested in, if you want. The 19.99 upgrade to SSE is to buy all of the existing Creation Club content, plus the new Creation Club content that was just added, and is a bargain-- except it might be a better bargain to buy just the new content separately if you had previously bought all of the existing content.

I haven't run into any issues yet (knock on wood). From what I was reading earlier, it sounds like the problems are related to mods, and I don't use any mods.

Is there is a list of the content - my favourite mods from old Skyrim were new races, enhanced and new guilds (where you could play instruments in inns and get paid for it or break into houses through windows), enhanced religion, enhanced grimoar, small funny houses and features adding realism - like needs with food and actually working - start anywhere. No Skyrim without it with all the armors, quests, stories and weapons would give me that value back.

No, many of the posters in the threads I read were using Skyrim without mods, and still couldn't start games with the AE update.

I'm guessing you don't have SSE? In addition to a menu option for the Creation Club, there's a menu option for Mods:

- Continue
- New
- Load
- Creation Club
- Mods
- Credits
- Quit

There are many, many mods available-- far too many to try to list here. And I'm not familiar with any of them.

A lot of people are celebrating the 10 year anniversary by waiting for SKSE64 to be finished, then all the SKSE plugin mods to be updated, so they can upgrade the game and resume playing.
