Did they fix those pesky bears at the turn-in sites?

It used to be I couldn't turn in daily writs with the bears in the way. Now they don't seem to matter, like they're not there. Did ZOS finally fix this after numerous complaints, or is this just my LazyWrit Crafter working around it?

Read the Patch notes. Very interesting and important things get changed in the patch notes. like the fact that arrows in quivers will point the correct directions when you change your outfits. very important things....

I try to keep up on the patch notes but apparently missed this one, if indeed it was covered in a patch note, which is why I was asking in the first place.

I think what they did was give the turn-in crates a higher reticle priority so that the bears don't matter much now. Today in Vivec there was a bear on top of the Provisioning and JC crates for the three characters I craft on, and I was still able to click "through" to the crate reticles.

I don't actually remember a patch note for this myself.

    I think it's this one:

    Interaction Priority Changes
We've added new rules for determining which things you'll interact with when there's a potential conflict. Generally speaking, interactable objects that are valuable (such as resource nodes and lootable corpses) will have priority over things that are mobile or player-made (such as Companions and Mementos). You should also have less of a problem attempting to interact with doors, Dye Stations, and other permanently available interactable objects, even when they're surrounded by Jubilee Cakes or Sorcerer pets.

@Tryxus, thanks! I didn't look back that far, though I do slightly remember reading that now.

This is better than it used to be, but has created a new issue-- difficulty interacting with your banking and merchant assistants if they're too close to an object that can be interacted with. You can usually still interact with your assistant if you move your cursor around to change your angle of view, but it's very specific and it's very easy to end up interacting with the nearby object if you accidentally nudge the cursor and lose the focus on your assistant. The solution is to make sure your assistant is far enough away from objects, and the situation now is preferable to the way it used to be, but it can be maddening to repeatedly try to interact with your assistant and keep ending up looking inside a container because you can't seem to keep the ficus on your assistant.

It has made some keep doors in Cyrodiil almost impossible to interact with now. Aleswell seems to be the worst, there is no prompt until you move your cursor around for a few seconds.
