Bots....bots everywhere!

Hey ZOS! I really appreciate the double xp, drops etc. event! However......there are bots everywhere farming nodes! I can't farm a thing because of a bunch of naked toons with floppy pets running around. Can anything be done about this please?!

    Platform? Server? Location? Did you report them? (no names, please)

    If you get close enough to them, which you can do while they are taking a node, you will have the option to open a wheel and one of the options will be report player.

    Xbox is pretty much infested with botters in the base game, not just starting cities, Auridon bears, Grahtwood near Haven wayshrine, Alik'r shores, Bangkorai bears, and several others.

    I've yet to see any in a dlc zone tho.

    If you wanna farm try a dlc zone (absolutely no bots) or a less well traveled route in a base game zone.

    I was shocked farming Deshaan last night, not one single bot. (PC-NA) Even more surprising I didn't see another farmer! The whole zone and all the nodes were all mine!

    Xbox NA is always over run with bots. It's 10x worse now. I've reported accounts, started tickets, and made numerous threads here and zos hasn't so much as even acknowledged it.

    I wish they were on xbox EU, too.

    1 Decorative wax currently costs 500 gold...

    Was 48 gold last time I filled up my stock (some thousand).

    I always ask for platform, server, and location, but not names, so that other players can go to that specific location and report the bots that they see there. In the past, ZOS has commented that multiple reports on the same player can escalate the response. My take on that is that a single person reporting a bot will eventually get handled, but 10 people reporting the same bot will get handled faster.

    Been an issue for years. Reporting them will eventually get the bot banned but it won't make any difference. It'll be right back on a new account. Best bet is to find a skill you can use on them to speed them up so that it screws up their pathing.
