Is stam getting short-changed with hybridization?

✭The problem with balancing via sets is that you're backed into a corner.
You can't buff stamina skills without pushing stam over the top because of sets. Now that's no longer an issue.
Additionally mag builds that want to run stam sets will need to deal with the difficulties that come with that. Lower pen, lower crit chance, lower sustain. Want to run rele and tzogvin? ok cool, where is your pen and sustain coming from? Stam skills across the board are pretty much cheaper than mag, take away the light armour cost reduction and regen and you're in struggle town.
The highest parses i've done on PTS on my magsorc are still my live build.
Both sets mentioned can be run on weapons and jewelry effectively negating any malus (mostly on sustain) one could expect so no, whatever you're saying wouldn't be an issue.0 -

so what i'm saying IS going to be an issue.
Personally the combination I want to run for most content is tzogvin and yandir, which again, is 2 stam sets so i need to make sure i can sustain and reach pen cap.2 -

1. I only run in trifecta groups so if it's not optimal and risks slowing my dps down, it's a no go. Anything not meta or not close to meta (some setups can yield a LITTLE bit less dps and be fun to play) is not an option.
2. You can run rele on frontbar, I've got 110k on stamcro and stamden with it on the dummy and respectable parses in vKA. Just don't cast more than 4 abilities (3 to be safe) on your backbar and you're good.
3. Mag meta is probably gonna be bahsei and either Tzogvin/Kinras or AY situationally. Running 2 medium sets is gonna be for people who like to show that many things CAN work even though they're not optimal. I'm sometimes like that but not for this, not this time.

Best chance is to use /feedback on the pts server, as well as post on the PTS forums (like you have done with this thread). Even then I don't think they will change anything at this point, however, it'd be great if a dev read this thread @ZOS_Kevin.0
